    Just got my 4 door outer banks soft top and I love it so much. I’m 6’6 and a big guy, and to answer your question on who this feels just right for- ME! I’ve never sat in a modern vehicle before and felt totally relaxed and comfortable while driving. My knee is either pushing up against the center console, or the seat just isn’t hitting me right. This is the Goldilocks zone for me.

    And let’s talk about dealer markups. I was shopping for a Big Bend and dealers were marking them up for $5,000 to $40,000 (!!!!) over sticker. So I went and bought a Wrangler Willys and love it. I won’t forget that, Ford Dealers.

      I was dead set on buying a C6 in 2004 when it was just released. The salesman called me at work and said he would go ahead and sell me the Precision Red in the showroom for MSRP instead of the 10k markup (we talked the day before). When I arrived at the dealership he pulled the ol’ “My boss said I can’t sell it for less than $10k over sticker” routine. I left upset and test drove a 350Z and bought it. No regrets. Loved that car.

    I will literally never off-road this vehicle, lol. I ordered mine for the look! I like the square-ness, I hate the slopey look of modern SUVs. And my 2-door is finally set to be built next week 😃🥳

    9:00 Muhammad Ali was The Greatest. He first called himself that in the run-up to his fight with Sonny Liston. He even wrote a poem, _The Greatest_ , as Cassius Clay. But Ali never called himself “The Greatest of All Time”, or G.O.A.T. That acronym was coined by L.L. Cool J. for his 2000 album G.O.A.T.

    I gotta disagree with the configurator, if you're looking for a 2 door manual and only want the sasquatch package and heated seats you need to get so much other stuff, bumping it up to that 60k mark you mentioned. I'd really appreciate more options and hope they come eventually because I'd really like to be that psycho that has a Wrangler and Bronco in the driveway.

    Something I never hear addressed is long term engine durability with these twin turbo high output engines. Lots of OOH’ng and AHH’ng about torgue and 0-60. I keep my vehicles a for 5-8 yrs or more and worry that these engines won’t last. Probably best to lease or sell before factory warranty expires.

    • @DalHarpJr
      @DalHarpJr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glenn Schulhafer... You shouldn't have an issue with EcoBoost engines. I've had a few of them with no issue. I currently have an Explorer ST running a Livernois Stage 4 Tune, since I've bought it. August 2022 makes 2 years with my ST, and no issues. The only issue you may have is driving it for ECOnomy or having fun with the BOOST. The power on demand when using Premium Fuel is addictive with these EcoBoost engines. And I have a Bronco WildTrak Sasquach on order!

    • @mikesveganlife4359
      @mikesveganlife4359 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We don't hear about it much anymore because it generally is no longer an issue. Automakers know what they are doing with turbo or supercharger systems these days that they are very reliable. The biggest issue in the last few years for long term engine life is the direct injection systems creating deposits on the intake valves. The new Ford 2.7 is addressing that with dual injectors. One in the port, and one in the cylinder. The smaller 2.3 still uses the old single injector in the cylinder and will require regular maintenance of cleaning the intake ports during it's life.

    Interesting people are awaiting a year/a year plus-so many other videos and on the forums- 65k- the IFS does not like mud, never have. Those frameless windows will have problems in the cold and will eventually fail to go all the way up; that security code piece on the outside is placed on with 3M tape and can simply be pulled off- I really want this vehicle to make Jeep up it's game. But you can get a 2022 JLUR for less than this and get it within three months the way you want it. The offroad dynamics are good-but it is like being in a truck and we know you don't get it for the gas mileage-but it's worse than they mentioned.

    This is a good passion car - but at this point, I'm going to wait till they electrify/hybridize these. I dont want to shell 50-60K for a vehicle and then another 60K plus on fuel costs at 15 mpg (assuming you drive this enough). It's amazing though and I'd take this over a Wrangler, no question.

    • @ethinos2719
      @ethinos2719 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Bronco starts around $28,500 so you can get in for a lot less. I'm sure they have plans for hybrids down the road but I'm not aware of any Ford hybrids with turbos yet. So far it's mostly a 2.0L NA paired with an electric motor. Not sure how well that would work in a large, heavy SUV.
