I’m a 45yr old man now, skateboarded since 1986. Fucking randomly, After a few drinks I got on TH-cam to see what ever happened to one of my favorite skateboarders named Matt Hensley. Watched a short two part interview involving him. Fucking Blown away man. I worked at, then eventually ran a bar in downstate Illinois for 15yrs. I was our speaker for the Great Guinness Toast of 2007. After we eventually discovered this song it became a tradition to play it once a year for the occasion. Its only now as of Friday January 15, 2021, 2:58am that this rabbit hole of TH-cam experience led me to great happiness. My favorite skater is a member of an absolutely amazing band we’ve listened to for years. Matt Hensley I applaud you. In an ironic twist, my girlfriends son has wanted to learn how to skate. Yesterday evening I went to our local skate shop to price out a complete for him. Then I came home with a remastered copy of Tony Hawk 1 and 2 for the PS4 . Weird timing, amazing timing. I actually told her son nobody during my skate period could Ollie as high as you, let alone pull off crazy shit. You’ve never been forgotten, always talked about how rad it was to watch those H-Street videos before we all went out to skate. Full circle man. I saw them for the first time at Beautiful Days Festival last weekend. Mind blown. The whole field was dancing its legs off. I won't rest until I see them play again. Cannot wait for the next tour.

my dad showed me this and im not dissapointed. also had no clue i was Irish so hes like "wanna listen to stuff we all listened to?" and hes like "we are Irish" i was like whatttt?!
Saw them at House of Blues in Orlando a few days ago. Apparently it's the last Green 17 tour, which severely depressed me, but from what I understand they are still touring, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again in person. I love these guys and the fans are absolutely wonderful to enjoy the show with :)
I saw them a very long time ago in Austin, that was when I knew I loved my wife that I hadn't married yet, because I was having a great time but she wasn't there with me, so it felt worthless. Great band live.
We took our daughters then 7 and 8 to their concert in Dublin, Ohio! Our 7 year old begged to be in the mosh pit! I am proud to say our girls our 22 and 23 now bu they still talk about their Flogging Molly concert! I am a proud mom!!!
I saw Flogging Molly at the 2002 Boston Warped Tour, I was 13. While in the crowd, my school crush of the past 3 years came up behind me and put his hands on my hips. It was a magical moment. We dated a while after, cute little punks. 😊

Just found this since I was looking for Irish bands for St. Paddy's Day. Happy St. Paddy's Day 2021. My father's side is Scottish though. Don't know what my mom's is other than British.
I've heard them live in 2016 and on this tour opening at Oslo Sentrum Scene. Probably without a doubt one of the best livebands out there, and this year they opened with this song. The rest of the concert was pure magic, and everyone had a great time. Some hadn't even heard about them so they got a new band to listen to afer that performance.😀
I’m an old lady and a few years ago my kids took me to their concert, they knew I loved them, had a freakin blast. Best Mothers Day/Birthday present ever!!!!

That is absolutely awesome!
They love you that is obvious.
Hell yeah, bless those kids. They knew their mom could still rock.

"Drunken Lullabies"
Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Five hundred years like Gelignite
Have blown us all to hell
What savior rests while on his cross we die
Forgotten freedom burns
Has the Shepard led his lambs astray
to the bigot and the gun
Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies
I watch and stare as Rosin`s eyes
Turn a darker shade of red
And the bullet with this sniper lie
In their bloody gutless cell
Must we starve on crumbs from long ago
Through these bars of men made steel
Is it a great or little thing we fought
Knelt the conscience blessed to kill
Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies
Ah, but maybe it`s the way you were taught
Or maybe it`s the way we fought
But a smile never grins without tears to begin
For each kiss is a cry we all lost
Though there is nothing left to gain
But for the banshee that stole the grave
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies
I sit in and dwell on faces past
Like memories seem to fade
No colour left but black and white
And soon will all turn grey
But may these shadows rise to walk again
With lessons truly learnt
When the blossom flowers in each our hearts
Shall beat a new found flame
Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies
Singin' drunken lullabies
Happy to play this on st Patrick’s day .. 🍀

It is great to be American. We love the Irish.
He stopped at the pub because he knew he left without drinking it. Case closed
Still listening to the classics to get through 2020, thanks boys.

Just one of the reasons why I love my Irish heritage.
Seeing these guys tonight, so psyched
i ❤ this song

Saw them at House of Blues in Orlando a few days ago. Apparently it's the last Green 17 tour, which severely depressed me, but from what I understand they are still touring, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again in person. I love these guys and the fans are absolutely wonderful to enjoy the show with :)
Found this one night when I was drunk as hell, most of my recent music collection has evolved around that 😂
I saw them a very long time ago in Austin, that was when I knew I loved my wife that I hadn't married yet, because I was having a great time but she wasn't there with me, so it felt worthless.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 🔥 Classic 👌
One of my teachers reccomended this. I don't regret a thing.
seeing these in 6 months, couldn’t be more excited
This is a masterpiece (in addition to the song) of a video.
If you listen to this today, you are my friend!
You're my friend too
Seen them at a rise against concert and it was they we’re fantastic ❤
Best Irish band in the world. Personally, I like Irish music not only you show me it's awesome too🍀❤️🎶👍🏻
Ahh let's hope we can celebrate this St. Patrick's Day!
This song got me through some of my darkest (and drunkest) nights ever.
Love this song. This makes me wanna go to Ireland even more.

Saw them play tonight at the Palladium. Great as always.
Man I think im the only Navajo that got drunk to this song on St. Pats day. love it.
Love the skating reminds me of cruising the streets pissing people off
Wow. Dave King is a vocal master! I couldn't even tell his voice in Fastway.
Luv ya Dave and and Bridgett!
