To be completely honest, they are indeed the rawest metal band out there. True metal in it's rawest form takes operatic and gothic elements, and incorporates them into a modernized music base. Ghost is "in your face" with all three of these components. This of course, doesn't mean that they're Metal in the sense as we recognize Metal today. That's where people are getting confused.
