+Connor Farrell In their defense, the metal award takes place before the actual show. Many people hadn't even arrived yet, or were simply waiting for their friends to show up. They weren't interested in the awards being handed out at that time...... but, at the same time, I agree that the Grammy's suck when it comes to metal recognition.

It's the American Grammys, so because it wasn't trash ass Cardi B or something equally revolting there was less response. Definitely deserved more praise than that, but winning the Grammy was praise in itself.

It's so fascinating watching this today. They weren't well known back then and where still anonymous. And they were so socially awkward back then! This literally brought them to more attention and attracted more fans!

I'm a 47 year old mom of two... a 21 yr. Old daughter and a 12 yr. Old son. We love music and love concerts, that's our thing. The first time I heard my son playing a song from Ghost I was instantly addicted. This band is so amazing! Polite fine people they are. I think it's sad that they're music is not on the radio and they're not getting more recognition. Such a talented group. What they need to do is take the trash music off the air and start playing some awesome music from some great artist like Ghost. By the way after 8 months I took my son to a Ghost concert all I can say is this band is GREAT! PLEASE COME BACK TO THE BARCLAY CENTER IN BROOKLYN, MSG OR SOMEWHERE IN LONG ISLAND SOON.

ProgHead777 back in the 80's and 90's the Grammy's use to telecast the metal/hard rock category during the actual show but over the recent year's the Grammy's think metal is dead and they no longer care showing it on TV.
