  • Enjoy the journey exploring the container ship terminals at the Port of Long Beach (Port of LA) and Port of Long Beach. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, transpacific shipping from Asia came to a halt in early 2020. Whereas in 2021, container ships are backup for weeks anchored offshore waiting to deliver goods from Asia that include ports in China and Japan. The shipping containers are stacking up at the terminals due to the lack of drivers and trucks to move the containers and storage facilities for full and empty containers near the ports. One key problem facing the port complex has been the towering piles of containers left at the import terminals for days on end, taking up space that should go to new containers unloaded from the ships offshore. Starting in November 2021, containers stored at the terminals longer that six days if intended for rail transport or nine days if intended for trucks, we be fined daily during this supply chain chaos.

Hi Robert. I am from Norway but it seems like the port of LA have a system problem to dealing with. Look at how Port of Rotterdam have made this. And someone need to do this fast before everything are total stop at port of LA. in the end someone need to pay for all this mess at the port... Like your way of filming Robert. Lookin forward to next Film. Have a nice day.
