Thx Mike still have 15 x 8, and 15 x 10 Weld wheels on there with Cooper Cobra Tires! Thx for your inquiry hope that helps! I have had Foose 20 x 9’s on front and 20 x 11’s in back with factory wheel wells.
Thanks really appreciate it! So let me know if I’m correct in what you are asking. You are asking if a 24 inch tall wheel that is 12 inches wide fit without narrowing rear end, right? The 8 inch lip is referring to the wheel off set? So sounds like the 8 inches is toward outside correct? So right now I have 10 inch wide wheels in there and there is plenty of room pretty sure I can get a 15 inch wide wheel in there so the 12 inches would definitely work it just depends on the off set. Narrowing rearend will not be necessary. Like I said pretty sure I can 15 inch wide drag wheels under there with the right offset. Hope this helps let me if I did not get your question straight or not! 😎👍. Thanks for watching appreciate you telling your buddies about our channel we are trying to grow it! Thanks Again good luck with your project! What kind of truck are you working on?
LOOKING GOOD OTHER THAN THE MINI TUB AND GETTING THE AXLE NARROWED, WILL THE 15 WIDE WHEELS FIT WITHOUT GETTING TO THE LEAF SPRINGS AND OR FRAME? THANKS
We did a 3” drop spring but they only lowered About an inch because the previous owner heated up the existing springs to lower it! Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Loved your video. About to do mine, first timer. Can you list the type of grinding wheel you used to clean the edges; I think you used it to clean up your welds as well. Its also gonna be my first weld job.
Sure, the wheel I got at harbor freight, I bought an assortment of different grind grits, 36, 50, 80, 120 I believe the one I used is 50 grit but 36 or 40 will work good the smaller the number the coarser or rougher the grind so it work faster but takes off more material the smaller the number or coarser the grind, same with sand paper! Great question thanks for asking please send me some pics when your doing it. You can follow us also on Instagram @ OldGuyzGarage! Thx for watching let me know how it goes my name is Frank

Howdy nice build! Do you need heat Shields underneath the gas tank?
No I’m going to run exhaust to side of tank out the bank or may have it exit before rear wheel on side! 😎👍
Great video. what width rim can you run i have the same setup...
Thank You I’m glad you liked it! I haven’t tried to get the widest tire in there yet but I’m sure you can get 15 wide wheel with the right off set! 😎👍
Good work, but I’m surprised that you didn’t have to cut out a piece of the inner bed wall to stop the rub there as well.
Hi Grim you must have missed that part we did cut bed floor about 5 inches!
How low were you able to go did this increase the amount you were able to lower the truck as well? Thanks in advance.
Yes we ended up dropping rear about 3 inches yes much more room for tires to clear!! 😎👍
do you happen to know the size of the stock c10 tubs brotha?
11 inches wide
Hey man nice work 👍 quick question would 24x12 with a 8 lip fit good without narrowing the rear? I am installing the exact wheel tube you have.
