Hyolyn and soyou are part of a girl group called sistar where they where called summer queens and if you listen to there tracks you begin to understand why every summer from 2011 to 2017 they where number 1 across every summer for almost 6 years. In terms of vocals in sistar these 2 where those girls they hard carried the group in the vocal department, Hyolyn was the better power house vocal and can belt and sing for days, but Soyou carried all of Sistars harmonies and had a very unique tone amongst most vocalist from that generation of kpop idols. Soyou never gets her flowers for her vocals but she is on top of the pyramid with hyolyn and another group of singer called Taeyeon and jessica who are from girls generation as well as Jea and narsha from brown eyes girls, they dominated the game of vocalist for alot of girl groups in kpop. All i have to say is these 2 vocalist are crazy i love them so much, i wish all the new girls from all over the world took singing as seriously as they did back then. The t is Korean is pronounced differently. Trust me, trying to make the exact sound as a non Korean native takes time. Korea has amazing vocalists so if you go down this rabbit hole you be lost in their music like so many of us
