Farmer Pete and his old tractors. These kids today that are 5th and 6th generation farmers know nothing about old tractors and the joy of tearing them down and rebuilding them. They seem to want to drive these new green ones...Enjoy your videos and wisdom..
Did you just say, "pootina"? 🤣 I love that you change your mind/plan as you go. There's a belief that doing that is a bad thing (flip-flopping) but in truth it's a sign of evolved thinking.👏🏻
Maybe it's just me, but watching that manure flying around everywhere with the camera on the ground had me ducking and covering my head to avoid the manure 😂
I grew up on a farm and have owned my own farms for most of my adult life. I'm 71 and not sure why I like watching your videos but I do so thank you for sharing 😊
It is amazing how quiet it is around your farm when Patty has her mouthful.😂 I like your plan to use the upper barn for the cows. I am sure Patty will be expecting a special stall just for her. Thanks for taking us along for the first field work. Have a blessed weekend!
Greetings Pete, I have to say that's why I like your channel. Regardless of how much crap you have to deal with you have a positive and humorous attitude!
Hey Pete, I was driving across the Pennsylvania Turnpike watching this episode and sure enough the farmers down here were all spreading their manure too. This is the first time I’ve had the smell to go along with your great sights and sounds. I highly recommend it!
Hello: at 5:48 in the video, you can see your webb of the spreader is in backwards. Flip your chain around left on right and right on left. The "L" bar should be on the opposite side for support. We were a small farmer as well 320 acres but now I'm in Dallas. We still have the farm. Hope this helps, I'll watch to see if it is flipped.
"Your crap" flying is so much better than "the media crap" that flies. Love watching you and your wife. Childhood memories renewed. May God Bless you and keep you.
When the camera fell off the fender, my 18-month-old daughter said, "Uh-oh!". We love watching your videos, and my youngest daughter loves the cows, especially when they all start mooing when she begins to moo loudly. Thanks for the phenomenal family and educational content.
The fishermen warn each other to keep a weather eye out. when you think about why, it could save a life or a boat because the weather changes so quickly out at sea.
The jokes have been missed. Good to see manure being spread, means green is coming. Another year of enjoying your videos and I am ready. Looking forward to it, the market and cycles of farming. Thanks for including us again, very enjoyable.😃👍
Never, in my former life before Just A Few Acres, could I have imagined loving manure spreading. I love to watch you, Pete, TLC-ing your farm with poop being among my favorite of your activities. Pigs, cows, chickens all poop not having accessibility to modern plumbing. Now that I have seen how this stuff keeps happening, and you cleaning stalls, coops, pens, spreading manure feel good to watch you do. You are at the epicenter of the reality of life on earth while I, not having accessibility to the earth as you do, have drifted from what really matters. You and Hillary are my link to how life REALLY works, before politics, social media, fluxing stock market, every convenience offered to my American, middle class, white, suburban lifestyle. I am grateful I know of you through your videos.
I've never lived on a farm but always wished I had grown up that way. I absolutely LOVE farm smells...even fresh manure being spread. When friends and family would plug their noses driving by fields, I had my head sticking out the window taking it all in.
Amazing video as always Pete! People really do not understand the reality of mud season on farms. It is a real season just like winter, spring and summer! Good luck and Good morning!
Pete, it's just amazing the solutions that come forth after allowing ideas to marinate for a season! A fun mental adventure indeed! God bless, have fun!
Pete, thanks for all the great stories and content that you share with us. You always manage to put a smile on my face! I love my visits to your farm. Say hello to Hillary for me!
Pete, I love the constant tweaking and process updates of the pig barn plans. We did something similar over the last year. Started with "let's build a new pig barn" and kept reevaluating and changing the plan until we finally came up with a solution. We ended up retrofitting the old existing tobacco barn on the property, and we are just now finishing up our best farrowing season yet, thanks in large part to the well thought out and designed infrastructure. Can't wait to see where you end up with your design process!
This proves every job has its "crappy" side. Your plans evolve, but eventually when the time is right it will all come together! Hopefully your jokes do too!!
Pete, you should create a second channel "Just A Few Tractors". If you separate the two you'll add all of the people who just like watching the tractor rebuilding or auctions. Double the fun & the $$ 😎
Maybe this hay season if you have time or want to we can see your square baler work? Thanks pete love the hard work and the knowledge you have taught me. Have a great day can't wait till the next video!!!
Hi Pete I’m from Australia and I love watching you videos and they make my life 10x better. I’m so glad I found you channel a year or 2 ago but that was the best day when I did, hope your family is well and you too.
I cleaned and hauled manure at my farm. I tell my grandkids we are making fresh air for everybody. Play the crazy weather and prepare the spreader. It is amazing how the rear beaters get bent as time goes by.I notice the same thing with my cows, they seem shorter after cleaning out the barn...lol. I agree it feels good getting out. Be safe out there.
I enjoy my evening watching you guys - I was raised on dairy farm with hogs and chicken - it more fun watching you than actually doing it - Happy Thursday guys 😮😅
I love watching this process, and am amazed at how it could all go back together. One of the most surprising things to me is the lack of blood and bruised hands, wrists, and forearms.
My brother is overhauling his 756 D. with a turbo pulled 5 bottom hydra wide plow. Sleeves were leaking antifreeze but were showing almost no wear. Crank is in good shape. What a tractor!!!
As you were spreading the second load of manure, I could see and hear Nancy and Ronald Reagan. It was a press event and they were asking President Reagan what Nancy got him for his birthday. There was a pause and he answered, a manure spreader. There was this kind of a "what did he say pause?" And he repeated a manure spreader. This time it sunk in. There was laughter. There are those of us who do understand. 😊😊😊😊😊 Have a great day.
When running older equipment or vehicles it is a good idea to have two, just in case one is down for repairs. It is a good thing you can maintain your own manure spreader since it is one piece of equipment no repairman will ever stand behind.
As an OTR tractor trailer driver I thought I had an obsession with the weather too. Which route to take, stay North or not, when to leave home, etc... Couldn't tell you the number of times I jumped in the seat just to beat a storm moving across the country, trying to keep a normal trip from becoming a nightmare. Now retired I'm still a weather-watcher so I feel for ya brother. Keep on Truckin'!
I needed this today. Sounds like this Spring is going to continue to be above/below freezing for a while. Mid-MI & we are getting a fair amount of rain and cloudy skies now. Thanks for the joke!
lol loved your video this morning, Pete. :) It was a good load of crap, thank you very much. :)) It was especially poignant to know you didn't forget to visit Billy at the end. I can hardly wait to see him being given the pleasure of going outside. He is a special pig, that sweet Billy. OH! And your terrible joke today was icing on the cake! It made me bust out laughing! lol I have missed your jokes.
I'm so jealous! Where I live in Canada we still have a foot of snow on the ground, watching your video is getting me itching to be back on the tractor.🚜
Pete - My husband and I have been watching your channel for over a year. We love to just watch you be a farmer, and we just like you. I about spat out my drink when I heard you ask the cow if he was looking for chem trails! hahahaha Thanks Pete for inserting just a little bit of "truth" into your farm video! Could those be the reason your weather in NY was not Normal this winter? hmmmmmm
You are like me when it comes to planning future developments. I am building a new chicken coop to house 100 chickens and I swear I changed locations over a dozen times already lol
We discovered your videos a couple of months ago. Really like them. Especially enjoy how you talk to your animals and give them scratches and rubs. Your farm looks like your own little piece of heaven. Look forward to the new 🐖 quarters!
I think it's fantastic that you change your mind and come up with better plans it's a dedication to patience and perfection. Too bad the rest of the world can't except those terms these days everyone is in a hurry to see something lol great video pete!!
Thanks for shooting the $hit with us this morning.
Nice well said bub
No pun intended
Funny. Good one!
Good line.
Double entendre 20:33
Farmer Pete and his old tractors. These kids today that are 5th and 6th generation farmers know nothing about old tractors and the joy of tearing them down and rebuilding them. They seem to want to drive these new green ones...Enjoy your videos and wisdom..
I thought the manure would be the stinkiest part of this video...then Pete tells a joke.
I think billy hit the pig lottery, he found the perfect home, happy life.
lol love the camera drop off the fender
Ouch.. that hurt. Dropped us on our heads.. lol
I spread some of our manure a few days ago with the 826. Those german diesel engines sure do sound nice doing work.
Patty.... The "Karen" of cows?
Greetings Pete, I have to say that's why I like your channel. Regardless of how much crap you have to deal with you have a positive and humorous attitude!
My grandfather, when he would go by a farm with freshly "manured" fields, would take a big sniff and cry "lilacs!" and the kids would giggle.
Spring is truly one of the more wonderful times of the year.
I am 12 year old boy and I really enjoy your channel i have restored a Farmall b with the help of your mechanic videos
Fantastic shot 15:03. The sky and the tractor going by… cool angle! Thanks Pete!
I agree! 👍👍
You can sling it with the best of 'em, Pete!
Yeah, I agree; it was great to get out in the field again. Thanks for taking us along. Spring is coming!
Boy! And I thought we had a sh@t show at my job!
To some, that's a mountain.
To others (me), ITS A MOUNTAIN OF GOLD!!
Im just glad to see im not the only one who changes there mind half a dozen times when doing something
Patty says she definitely likes the idea of living next to all the hay.

I hope all is going well.. been 6 days, just wanted to check in on y'all
Cow Patty! Yep, she's been busy! 🐃. Thanks Pete. I'm looking forward to seeing the cattle turned out on your green pastures again!
Hope everything is going okay on just a few acres farm it's been a long time since you uploaded a new video. Best wishes
Pete .. please keep those jokes coming! Love them big time.
"Your crap" flying is so much better than "the media crap" that flies. Love watching you and your wife. Childhood memories renewed. May God Bless you and keep you.

Good morning Pete and family hope y'all have a great day
Ah Spring! The time of year when a young man's fancy turns to manure.
The jokes have been missed. Good to see manure being spread, means green is coming. Another year of enjoying your videos and I am ready. Looking forward to it, the market and cycles of farming. Thanks for including us again, very enjoyable.😃👍

Pete, cleaning pens, hauling and spreading manure brings back great memories of my childhood. Thanks👍🏻❣️👍🏻❣️👍🏻❣️
Absolutely loving the evolutionary thought process of the pig & cattle situation!
Ah the weather tide has turned, spring is starting to settle in. Very nice poo fling. Thank you
Tis the season when my wife and I are driving through the country the car is put in "re circulate" mode! LOL. Keep on smiling.
You know it’s spring when the manure hits the field.
Amazing video as always Pete! People really do not understand the reality of mud season on farms. It is a real season just like winter, spring and summer! Good luck and Good morning!
Hey Pete worried about you ..hope all is ok..
love hearing a 'dad joke' again, thanks always for your sharing of your life, awesome
Manure spreading day! Yeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwww! My favorite day of the year!
Pete, it's just amazing the solutions that come forth after allowing ideas to marinate for a season! A fun mental adventure indeed! God bless, have fun!
Love seeing you back out in the fields again!! It looks Good on YOU. LOL
Can't wait for your next video
That smile on your face as you did your first pass was magical shows you have a love and passion for your work 😊
Pete, thanks for all the great stories and content that you share with us. You always manage to put a smile on my face! I love my visits to your farm. Say hello to Hillary for me!
Growing up, I remember seeing float valves that were like the ball inside toilet tanks. Thanks for the reminders of the olden days.
Weather also really matters to... airline pilots. ✈️
Hey pete it’s been 8 days since last video hope all is well I look forward to ur next video

That cattle feeding shed makes a lot of sense.
This proves every job has its "crappy" side. Your plans evolve, but eventually when the time is right it will all come together! Hopefully your jokes do too!!
I wish I had a place like this to call home.
Pete, you should create a second channel "Just A Few Tractors". If you separate the two you'll add all of the people who just like watching the tractor rebuilding or auctions. Double the fun & the $$ 😎

Just like a good farmer, “outstanding in his field”…..spreading goodness 👊
I hope everything is ok up there buddy.
Hi Pete I’m from Australia and I love watching you videos and they make my life 10x better. I’m so glad I found you channel a year or 2 ago but that was the best day when I did, hope your family is well and you too.
Thanks Jax! Best to you.
I like your opening title " Let The Crap Fly ", and yes, I get that same feeling; it is great to be back in the field.
I enjoy my evening watching you guys - I was raised on dairy farm with hogs and chicken - it more fun watching you than actually doing it - Happy Thursday guys 😮😅
When you say you guys have been busy, you are busy all the time. Hard workers👍
I love watching this process, and am amazed at how it could all go back together. One of the most surprising things to me is the lack of blood and bruised hands, wrists, and forearms.
It’s never a good conversation without talking about 💩. Thanks Pete for the update as well.
My brother is overhauling his 756 D. with a turbo pulled 5 bottom hydra wide plow. Sleeves were leaking antifreeze but were showing almost no wear. Crank is in good shape. What a tractor!!!

Pete you look happy back in the field!😊😊
Hope you are taking a break and enjoying life. I look for your video every day.
Hey Pete! You looked so happy out in the pastures again. I never seen equipment quite like the manor spreader. Loved your "issues" joke.
When you're a sailor, weather matters.⛈
When running older equipment or vehicles it is a good idea to have two, just in case one is down for repairs.
It is a good thing you can maintain your own manure spreader since it is one piece of equipment no repairman will ever stand behind.
This video is kind of a Spring Fling. Thanks for the videos
Your plan for the cattle sounds like a really good idea. More convenient for feeding them. Enjoy your videos!
I do have to admit, that 756 sounds really nice!
nothing better than the smell of manure and a good running tractor!
Billy and JJ are my favorite! Thanks for showing Billy!
I needed this today. Sounds like this Spring is going to continue to be above/below freezing for a while. Mid-MI & we are getting a fair amount of rain and cloudy skies now. Thanks for the joke!

I'm so jealous! Where I live in Canada we still have a foot of snow on the ground, watching your video is getting me itching to be back on the tractor.🚜
Nothing better then Pete on a tractor!
Thanks for dropping me off the fender!😅

Saving time on the hay for cattle makes that new addition a better plan. Glad you’ve got time to think through all the variables.
In Manitoba I'm getting real anxious for spring watching you do your spring chores. Still have most of our snow and sitting at -15 to -20 overnight.
Aw the joy of mud season ya get covered with it but it’s the beginnings of hopes dreams and plan’s.thanks for sharing with us 👍👍
Thanks for letting us be a part of your chores..it's very relaxing
Was expecting The Flight of the Valkyries in the opening! Great video, as always!!
"Lots of issues" Great you added a joke today. Nice to laugh. Spring has sprung.
That's the great thing about having several tractors. If one breaks down, you jump on another one and go.
Glad to hear that your chicks are coming hopefully you don't have the same problems you had last year good luck to you
great thumbnail for the video, Pete. This one and the one for the White March video are both wallpaper worthy
I think it's fantastic that you change your mind and come up with better plans it's a dedication to patience and perfection. Too bad the rest of the world can't except those terms these days everyone is in a hurry to see something lol great video pete!!
I always wondered why you don’t have a farm dog. But now I’m beginning to realize the pigs kinda fill that roll. Especially Billy!
