YOU ARE SO ENTERTAINING THANK YOU WE NEED THE FUNNY IN THIS DAY AND AGE I THINK THIS IS THE BEST RECIPE I HAVE FOUND SO FAR MY MOM USED TO MAKE THESE YEARS AGO I AM EXCITED TO TRY THEM
I love this but only indulge during the holidays. I always take advantage of the internet as a reminder. I love this woman’s personality and means of delivery. I am a little of this and a lot of that. It’s how I cook. Kudos and lots of brownie points ❤️❤️
I’m glad I came across your channel! 👍 I am actually going to make these. I am looking to find a different crust though. I just made some similar to this last night, except I put marshmallows on top of half of mine. They are so great though…lol. Amazing….it made me happy to see your video just be there when I got here tonight… 😁 I only have one suggestion for you though….if you don’t want to put the recipe in the description box, please say the measurements when you are making the recipe. This is for several reasons why I say that. One being it is considerate to your viewers who are looking for a quick recipe and don’t want to go to a big fuss to find one. Two, if you give the measurements as you are making the recipe more people will watch until the end. Therefore, they will check out more videos from you. 😊 usually from my experience if one doesn’t provide one, it will the other. Plus their website as a bonus. 😉 P.S. I am certainly going to like, share and I’ve already subscribed 😁😁😁😁
Hi! Thank you for commenting! I put the recipe link in the description because sending folks to the blog is the only way to make a little money back for providing free tutorials, but I totally see what you're saying. This would be great with a variety of different crusts, let me know what you decide to go with!
Hello! Chef, I love your recipe. What can I do if I want to cover all the pan with condense milk all the top? Can you suggest a tip for don"t bring me the coconut and the Milk whit the spatula.. Thank you
Great question. Unfortunately as soon as you touch a rubber spatula or offset spatula to the sticky coconut, it will come with the spatula. You can try spraying the spatula with nonstick cooking spray but that will only work if you have a large pool of sweetened condensed milk. The best bet is to pour the milk slowly and steadily and move your hand back and forth in lines across the whole baking dish. As it bakes, it will spread just enough to fill in the gaps.
Question please: If I chose to be perfectly lazy, can I use a premade 10 inch graham cracker pie crust instead of using the mentioned graham cracker crust, would it work?
Love how you layer the milk I seen ppl drench it if u don’t wanna use nuts I think marshmallow mini will be cute o dunno we can try both thanks so much I need to learn to cook for my husband and kids I’m 35 and buying a house soon. But not kids nor husband lol
Hi Poly! You should be ok without the coconut, but if you want to make the bottom crust as more of a traditional graham cracker crust here's a recipe: cheflindseyfarr.com/baked-graham-cracker-crust/
Hi, you're totally right! I tried to break it down differently in the recipe for ease of following, but also the order is slightly different. Whatever order you choose it will be delicious, which I talk about a little in the blog post!
Hi. I was making this in the 90s. Used to make it for pot luck and for kids parties. Now I don’t. Unfortunately. Too sweet. Bad for insulin resistance.
I don't think you should wait for them to cool. Get some ooey gooey right away! I usually put the coconut directly on top of the graham cracker so i get more of a Mounds effect.
7 Layer Bars get their name since there are typically seven layers of flavors to them. You have the butter, cookie crust, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, coconut, and the sweetened condensed milk topping.
You'll get all the good stuff in whichever order you prefer! These are a layered dessert, so the order is more so up to how you're feeling at the moment as long as you have the foundation set up. Happy baking!
You didn't miss anything! I've thought about why they historically have that name too! I think it comes out to: 1. Graham cracker crumbs 2. Butter (used to bind the graham cracker crumbs) 3. Shredded coconut 4. Semi-sweet chocolate chips 5. Butterscotch chips 6. Walnuts 7. Sweetened condensed milk
Hi Kevin! You're totally right! I tried to break it down differently in the recipe for ease of following, but also the order is slightly different. Whatever order you choose it will be delicious, which I talk about a little in the blog post!
Unbelievable where are the amounts? I will just throw a little bit of this in and a little bit of that and then we’ll do this and we’ll do a little that. That is not a recipe. Very annoying.

Nice I am making this tomorrow how did you mix the vanilla
Hi! I break the recipe further down here, there isn't currently any vanilla in this version:

Question please: If I chose to be perfectly lazy, can I use a premade 10 inch graham cracker pie crust instead of using the mentioned graham cracker crust, would it work?
If you're making your bars in a pie-shape I don't see why not!
OMG. Chef Lindsey. You have out done yourself with these amazing bars. They look so yummy. Thank you for another wonderful recipe
Thank you! ☺️
Awesome
Thank you!
They really stay in squares very cool
I know right! :)
What else could you use instead of Graham crumbs
Swap out chocolate graham crackers or Oreo cookie crumbs for the graham crackers for an easy chocolate cookie base.
Absolutely delicious! Everyone should give a try!👍👍👍
Thank you so much 👍
On how much degree we should bake it and for how much time ? I baked it fir 30min on 250c but it burned 😢.. pls help me
Hi Azhar! Bake at 325°F for 20-30 minutes or until the edges are just beginning to brown. I think that's around 163°C!
Did u use sweetenend coconut ?
Here's the link to the coconut I use! amzn.to/41FNoBk
Sweetened or unsweetened, just be conscious of how much sugar you have going on :)

Sounds great!
How much salt into the butter and gram cracker? Looks like a teaspoon.
Hi! The recipe with measurements is available via the link in the description. Happy baking!
Very good
Thanks!
i dislike coconut ....if i remove coconut...will bar fall apart.?.....is coconut a binder? in this case?
Hi Poly! You should be ok without the coconut, but if you want to make the bottom crust as more of a traditional graham cracker crust here's a recipe: cheflindseyfarr.com/baked-graham-cracker-crust/
Exactly what my Mom used to make 50 years ago.
💗
Party people 14 - 16 graham cracker sheets equal to 1cup (depending on brand).
Heck yeah, party people! 🎉
why does the link take you to 7 layer bar recipe that is COMPLETELY different from the one in the video :(
Hi, you're totally right!
Sorry to hear that. Stay healthy!
Pls give the quantities of the ingredients
Hi Surekha, quantities are available via the link in the description. Happy baking!
I don't think you should wait for them to cool. Get some ooey gooey right away! I usually put the coconut directly on top of the graham cracker so i get more of a Mounds effect.
Waiting for things to cool is always one of the hardest steps for me on dishes this delicious! 💖
Whats the 7th layer?
7 Layer Bars get their name since there are typically seven layers of flavors to them. You have the butter, cookie crust, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, coconut, and the sweetened condensed milk topping.
Don't make my mistake. I bought frozen shredded coconut, I forgot I could have got it in the baking isle...I was in a hurry..awwwwhhh
Awww! Hope you still got a chance to make these, I love them. 💖
I don’t understand why so many people are pouring the condensed milk on top of the breadcrumbs, I always do that last so everything sticks together!
To each their own! :)
You are very entertaining, explained the recipe well and the quality of your video is great! Thanks for the recipe! 🎉
Absolutely! Thank you for watching and commenting!
She didn't even tell you how much of each ingredient.
Ingredient amounts can be found via the link in the description. Enjoy!
You didn't follow the recipe you posted..example, it said coconut 1st on top of graham cracker base..
You'll get all the good stuff in whichever order you prefer! These are a layered dessert, so the order is more so up to how you're feeling at the moment as long as you have the foundation set up. Happy baking!
chaw-K-lit
then 5 1/2 layhers
Enjoy!
What did I miss? You say it's 7 layers, but I only counted 6
You didn't miss anything! I've thought about why they historically have that name too! I think it comes out to:
1. Graham cracker crumbs
2. Butter (used to bind the graham cracker crumbs)

Not a bad video, but I could’ve gave more measurement not ingredients
