This is clearly just a PR stunt and given this guy's ability to lie through his teeth, this "apology" is yet another bag of empty words and excuses. The fact that this guy is working for the "company" behind Earth 2 is undeniable proof that this person has NOT changed at all (and probably never will).

I'm gonna give the man props whether he's telling the truth or not, because if he really is apologetic he just came on stream and admitted guilt in front of at the very least hundreds of people. And if he *is* lying and is not actually sorry, he did a really good job seeming like he actually felt bad and kept the lie going in front of hundreds.

@BigfryTV - really, really enjoyed this video. I had to get on my laptop to come post a reaction comment. First, maybe a good experience/lesson for you on graciously accepting and being open to someone admitting they were wrong, accepting an apology, empathy for someone. I just turned 40 last year, been in IT / dev since 1999, worked with multiple bullshit artists. The reason I mention this is that while listening to Tanner, my bullshit alarms were NOT going off. I really felt like he was being honest, genuine, and vulnerable, admitting his mistakes. I totally "get" how he handled himself at 16, and even now at 18 he is still "just a kid" and will have so much to learn in life (not that I know it all).
@Tanner - as mentioned above, I felt you were genuine which is incredibly commendable. This was a really great video to watch. One lesson I've learned with years in development industry (enterprise software), whenever there is conflict, 90% of the time it is worked out by simply talking in person. I might recommend some interesting reading on soft skills like How to Win Friends and Influence people, and books on "brilliant asshole" (and not being the asshole on a team), its a whole "thing" topic. I've been this myself.
Criticism is both hard to give and receive.
