  • One of the most memorable adventures of our life came unexpectedly and blew us away!!!

    This place and those people puts all my senses on alert. Like some constant tension in the air... like they smile and I dont know whats behind that smile. And its not the first video for Pakistan and Afghanistan that makes me feel uneasy.
    Ive been to arab countries, Jordan, Morocco, I never felt that way. Wonderful people.
    Hats off for this ride guys. Its something I have no balls to do.

      Honest to God; we've never had any issues while there with the general public; Pakistani are incredibly lovely! We always said that it's must be weird for them to live in very remote areas and have 3 flashy foreigners coming into their village... If you liked other Muslim countries you would love Pakistan, especially the mountain areas in the North! We had a blast anyway 😉😁... Tough but amazing!

    I think police Pakistan really concern about tourist safety.that why they always escort tourist from check point to check point. They welcome tourist buat at the same time if anything happen to tourist. this will give bad impression to Pakistan government... That why so many check point and so many police along the karakoram highway...but this is nice video and Pakistan very beautiful country..their people also friendly...

  • @youknow6968
    @youknow6968 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's not the Chinese government working on the road, it's the Pakistani government, and it's a very much a Pakistani project.
    Only technical assistance is provided by Chinese company, nothing more.
    Those friendship signs are because both countries are close.

    • @421adventure
      @421adventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Thanks for your comment. While there, people told the contrary; there were absolutely no PK workers and this actually caused huge frictions between the two... Anyway, that's just the news we received. The important thing is that the road is an amazing project for local people since, before, communications were extremely challenging!

    • @youknow6968
      @youknow6968 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@421adventure I think that could be to do with other projects, such as the dams. But my feedback was regarding the road, frontier works organisation is a Pakistani state institution, they built the road decades ago, when many dozens died because it was extremely dangerous. Now it's the upgrade process.
      Other projects I think there's greater Chinese involvement because of the technical nature, but regarding the road, it's certainly a Pakistani led project, people take pride.
      I have a feeling you or the people got lost in translation.

I don't think it's possible because without the Pakistan Visa you can't even get to Tashkurgan, there are a lot of Police controls and they will stop you without a Visa ... Anyway, we got our Visa in Iran. We checked a lot and it was the last place where we could get it actually. It's a long story and there is an entry in our blog about this, please check it out. Otherwise, please PM us on our mail and maybe we can exchange phone numbers and do a videocall to talk about this in further details :) Enjoy the ride !!!!

    4:10 note to 'westerners', kids can roam freely in Pakistan without elders supervision. As an 8yr old me and the crew of 7/8yr olds would be out all day till dark roaming the jungle's/hills, making slingshots, bows and arrows, catching wildlife, killing giant lizard's, spying on vultures feasting on wild boars corpses then getting chased by them, throwing stones at gigantic beehives, eating the wild fruits of the land, flowers with shots of juice, fruits/ berries, all sorts of shit.

      What's wrong with her dress? Why shouldn't the man wear a full dress? Have you ever tried cycling in summer in a full dress?

      Most of Pakistanis are just Pakistani
      They donot think of religion while welcoming others
      We have to safeguard our identity otherwise people will act like athiest
      For a men in Islam, its obligatory to cover their body minimal from Belly buttons till knee end
      And for Women its compulsion to cover head to toe
      No matter what act you are in
      So if people like you are given to roam in our lands wearing shorts and alarmingly women too, it will trigger something more destructive in our society
      Once again, like we said earlier not everyone is same and not everyone is devoted to Islamic principles
      We could all b Pakistani but not everyone is Islami
      You are welcome to visit every part of Pakistan but keep respect and ideological needs of the region in mind

      We totally understand your points of view but do not share them, in fact, in Pakistan it's allowed to dress however a person sees fit, especially if for a specific reason, sport in this case.
      We respect the fact that you have strong believes but you cannot expect everyone to feel the same way as you. Maybe when we come back to PK we can meet and discuss these matter further and thanks again for your communication, please be safe in these difficult times 😁
