      It just about survived. I had not driven since pre Covid and didn’t test run prior to trip. I did not think batteries would be good as over 10 years old but were perfect. I have the tracks off now to check and adjust as last driven in snow and a few pebbles rattling around. Looking forward to next outing. Survived 1200km trip and ferry crossing.

    Wow, very cool. It's only1/35 scale kits I'm on, maybe pick up a 1/16 one day but I doubt I'll ever get to the 1/6 scale. First and foremost I live in a 3rd floor flat. Hmm. logistical problems, of course there's a few others too!

      They had a nice 1/16 scale tiger at Bovington Tank Museum shop by Andy’s hobby HQ. It wouldn’t be the first time somebody worked on an Armortek tank in a flat. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe.

    Armortek produces highly detailed and expensive 1/6 scale Tanks and Armored vehicles. What I don't like is their very limited run of each vehicle they produce. These vehicles are made on CNC machines that are capable of making parts for all the vehicles they make. Why the limited run??? Why not have a big catalog of items they've produced for sale every day??? They could be made in small batches, and when they're all sold, they could make more. Armortek doesn't have to have a big inventory in stock at one time because it would cost them to much. For that reason, I doubt I'll ever make a purchase from Armortek.

      The company is not very big. They probably produce as much as they can. I would also like to see more of their past models back on sale but they also want to produce other vehicles. I buy mainly second hand and usually in need of TLC so choice is limited for me. I think they have enough Tigers at this stage and should focus on other vehicles.

      Not all components are cnc machined. Some parts are made with traditional methods to how the real thing was made.... moldings etc... also, buying from these guys is supporting a UK business. British engineering.

    Is those tanks for sale

      My tanks are not for sale at present but kits are available from Armortek.co.uk
      There are used kits for sale by owners on the Armortek forum. Used market has best value. If you contact Armortek they can place an add on the forum for you. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel. 👍

    So very 😎😎😎😎😎😎 may I ask how much?

      @16rctankworkshop-yv8kl  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Do you mean how much for an Armortek Tiger? Have a look at Armortek.co.uk
      Buying second hand is much better cost wise. You can get luck and get one with all options and even strip back to begin again or find a second hand kit in unstated or partially complete. A full option tiger can cost less that a new model without any motion or sound options. Tigers are most common but other models can have more resale value.

    There's another thing I don't understand is why do so many people choose to build German tanks and military vehicles knowing what was done by the Germans in WW-II??? Many of these guys are from Europe, and yet they love their German tanks. Yes, I know there's more aftermarket parts and accessories available for German military vehicles than Allied military vehicles. Is this the only reason and answer to my question?
