No joke. Zephyr is so good that she kind of killed the game for me for a while because I would try and play other frames and the only thing that came to my mind is I could be playing zephyr instead
I played OG Zephyr for so long, she's one of my top played Warframes. I remember on release I criticized she needed to have a hover mode. Took DE forever but they finally added the feature while fixing the Tornado's issues of randomly moving and ragdolling everything. Good to see her finally in a great place.
I use the trumna with zephyr, if the alt fire kills enemies through tornado damage it'll give you charges like a regular kill would so you can just spam alt fire.
Note about the budget build for anyone planning to use it, Broz has an aura forma on his Zephyr. By default she has a D (Vazarin) polarity BUT as I'm sure he did on purpose but just didn't mention any aura will fit in that build still with 0 forma so don't force yourself to use Physique or something.
Quick note on the budget build: if you use a rank 4 fleeting and streamline you still max out the efficiency but lose less duration, its just a few percent but its worth it, and it costs less endo to max them out that way, which is good for a new player
I farmed another Fleeting Expertise for the sole purpose of maxing it out so I could try a minimum duration Trinity build. That wasn't great, but the mod was simple enough to get. Been using a Rank 4 Fleeting for ages because, as you said, it maxes out Efficiency while using Streamline without losing more Duration for no good reason.
For a new player, the Nataruk is easier to get than the Tenet Arca Plasmor, since the main story has less gear requirements than the Tenet sisters. As such, I would recommend upgrading to the Nataruk from the Fulmin for a new player.
@@doodledibob really? I find necromecks to be more annoying at this point. Still it's an extra step. With reasonable weapons litches/sisters are doable though the necromeck grind is dreadfully slow without a necromeck.

I remember masterring Zephyr Prime and leaving her to collect dust prior to her rework. Then recently I decided to check her out to see what I have been missing and, oh man, I’ve never had so much fun with a frame since forever
These Build Refresh videos have shown me that some of the frames I'd found boring in the past could actually be quite fun. It hasn't changed my outlook on Nezha (I don't like his kit or his passive, just not fun for me. Sorry, not sorry), but I've gotten to enjoy frames like Ash and Zephyr a lot more.
Zephyr went from one of the most clunky frames in terms of gameplay to becoming the best birb gurl that can get the job done no matter the mission. Of all of the frames, Zephyr had the best anime arc in terms of development.
I had Zephyr Prime in my inventory, took her out to try when she was reworked and when you initially did the Breach build. Then that worked so well I got bored and switched to a Dispensery + Kuva Orgis build where on any low level farm I will never touch the ground and I'll end the level with at leave 50% damage and 0% damage taken. No enemies can touch me until the recent eximus rework. Zephyr being underrated is a understatement.
Another fun interaction with both Zephyr and Wisp is the Aero mod set. By applying them, you have some DR while airborne and can hover for several seconds when aim gliding. Skywalker Zephyr gets more time to apply tornadoes and recast Turbulence and Skywalker Wisp can remain invisible between shots.
Zephyr has been and always will be my most played warframe. Even back during the dark days before her rework, she was still usable for pretty much all of the content in the game if you knew what you were doing, and she was one of the best frames for rescuing a squad from doom. Her tornadoes, while far less effective back then, still provided enough large scale crowd control that they could be used in a pinch if your squad went down and you needed some breathing room to safely revive them. Tailwind also made it possible to rescue someone who went down 5+ tiles away. Now, she's one of the best picks in the game and I couldn't be happier.
i personally subsumed spectrorage onto my zephyr with the augment just for energy since i enjoy hovering in her 1 and i cannot say i have ever seen enemies who aren't eximus do anything but run straight into my tornadoes
I pulled Zephyr out of my toy box the other day, because I was looking to try a new frame. Haven't touched her since getting her, over a year ago. I'm in love with her kit. Can't wait to take her out into Steel Path
Arca Plasmor is cool and all, but another neat little trick that I don’t think many people are aware of is that weapons with alt-fires that require kills to charge (e.g. the Trumna, Battacor, etc.) will actually charge themselves when hitting enemies inside her Tornadoes. So essentially as long as you have enough enemies affected by her 4, you can keep spamming Trumna’s grenade launcher for massive damage Don’t know if its a bug or not but I hope it never gets patched. Makes her so fun to play when farming survival missions
Worth noting that Tail Wind also has the midair hover on hold, which is nice for taking advantage of Zephyr's passive (150% crit chance in midair) without having to spam jump, gives you a bit of height, and also is a pretty good melee enemy (e.g. Acolyte) cheese
I'm just coming back to Warframe after several years of hiatus (for a number of reasons. burnt out on grind, the game was getting too intensive for my dinky laptop), the last time i really played was like 2019. I was checking out the weapons Father had for sale on Deimos and saw the Trumna, and thought "this sounds good, i wonder what better players think about it" and actually found your video covering the weapon. In that video you ran Zephyr, and Immediately I was like "wait, her tornadoes do WHAT?" So i ran over to the Simulacrum and. Oh my god this warframe. I don't know how long her tornadoes were basically just "shoot this and hurt everyone in the tornado", but it feels new. That change (i think) and her reworked 2 have really just blown my mind.
I have a Boar Prime + a Riven (+161.6 multishot, +222% damage, +115% crit damage, -130% impact damage) and they synergize REALLY well. Just shreds max level Bombards (i know Simulacrum isn't exactly representative of what goes on in real games though lmao). After your two videos i'm definitely gonna be giving her way more love
A niche use for Zephyr is operator synergy. Amp kills on enemies in her 4 are not only counted as operator kills even on the damage over time portion, but the damage itself is multiplied. This makes for a really effective focus farming technique. It was trivial to level my Vasero Sekhara to rank three by killing Steel Path Mot enemies using nothing but tornado and my amp.
Zephyr’s crazy good. She’s been a favorite of mine since the Wukong rework. Great defenses, great cc, great damage boosts. I don’t even like to give her any helminth abilities, most of the time. She’s awesome for almost anything. And that deluxe skin is the coolest shit in the whole game. Absolutely spectacular frame.
After recently coming back to the game. That budget build for Zephyr has been a godsend for me. Literally my favorite frame next to Ash Prime and Saryn Prime.
A thought on Subsumes for Zephyr: Molt (from Saryn) I've been using it for a while, and it's fantastic. It doesn't give you the hilarious damage number of Breach Surge, but it has a few other benefits. First: it cleanses status. If an Eximus sneaks up on you, and you catch a Heat Proc, you're gonna have a bad time. Or, if you spawn a Sister of Parvos whose Hound keeps procing heat on you ... also bad. Molt will clean take care of that. You can also run the augment for a little bit of healing. Not much, as it's based on Str and Zephyr is kinda low there, but it's not nothing. Secondly: Molt can hold open doors, rag-doll'ed enemies don't. Have you ever thrown down an airburst to try and pull enemies through a door? Sucks, right? Molt can fix that. Third: it's intended use, as a distraction. If your molt is near your Tornadoes, melee enemies will beeline for the molt, and get zoop'ed up. You can also get creative with Line of Sight to pull in ranged enemies, but that's already kind of a non-issue. But most importantly, it's thematic: birds molt. So the Bird Girl gets Molt.
Instead of breach surge and intensify, use spectrorage with the aug. Put it under a stationary tornado. The vertical effectived area is indefinite, so triggers the aug. You can hover in place indefinitely. You don't even need streamline.

"Don't forma Fulmin, just use Tenet Arca Plasmor" I haven't looked at the process behind killing a Sister of Parvos, but if its anything like killing a Lich then I'm gonna stick with the Fulmin because I'd rather not spend the next 3 days of my life just getting the stuff needed to kill it (not even accounting for the time needed to get the weapon I want)
When you say one-day endeavour, is that one-day day for people who already have the stuff necessary to take one down? Or one-day for someone with maybe 20% of what you need? Because I started collecting the things to take down liches, got about 2 hours through it, looked at the road ahead and decided it wasn't worth it and went to do something else.

Another thing in open areas is the Aim Glide fall speed mods, so you can just stay airborne and snipe people. Optimized? Probably not. But it IS funny.
i personally like her 1 just being able to fly is fun so i got rid of the 2 since i dont see any reason to have it the 4 does that for me so i dont see a reason for me to do it when i can leave it to my 4 so i replaced my 2 with gara for infinte energy just replaced streamline (i dont have maxed out energize probably wont ever have maxed out energize so this makes it so i dont have to just hope enemies drop orbs which they wont)
I put Spectrorage over her 1. It makes her immune to the things that can hit through her 3, except for Stalker and Zanuka. Also, Spectosiphon lets me be lazy about energy.
How did you get rad + mag+ heat on your arca plasmor while only modding for viral + heat? Is it a radiation progenitor, and if so how does the magnetic get into the mix?
Both variations of the Arca Plasmor have innate radiation (just like the Fulmin has innate electricity) so if you make the Tenet progenitor magnetic, then you get both radiation & magnetic on it right from the get go i.e before modding.
Zephyr is fine, it's just a shame that the game is so unstable with ragdolled enemies, using her tornadoes to group up enemies then deal gas or electric damage makes the game stutter like mad. Coil horizon is an easy replace for her 2, as the range on coil horizon is larger and primes enemies with electric for gundition overload effects.
Dude this is unreal. Last time I played Zephyr is when they FIRST gave her Airburst. I took her to PoE, was very underwhelmed, and haven't played her in years. This sh!t right here though? God damn. The Airburst has serious range when all modded up. Would this be better than Larva on Protea? Thanks for the vid!! :)
Also while you have the wind it increases projectile speed I was wondering also if your discord has Xbox players also in it every discord seems to be pc only
Somebody help me, why SOOOO much range in the budget build? It only affects air bust and turbulence. It doesn't affect how the range of pull in for tornadoes. Only how far they can be cast. Seems absolutely useless, until you see the tornado breach build which uses breach. But the budget build has no need for such ridiculous range.

If you ever want to throw bullets use verdilac with Jetstream and mid strength super fun and works with tornados still
It must be said that both of the new arcanes are good on zypher the added power strength can be nice for a bit more damage from the tornadoes and the duration is nice so you don't need to cast your abilities as often, I personally run energise and the duration arcane
"Don't forma Fulmin, just use Tenet Arca Plasmor"
I haven't looked at the process behind killing a Sister of Parvos, but if its anything like killing a Lich then I'm gonna stick with the Fulmin because I'd rather not spend the next 3 days of my life just getting the stuff needed to kill it (not even accounting for the time needed to get the weapon I want)
@@miss_bec one day for people who mostly have everything or have everything. If you've got a handful then I'd break it down into steps and you'd have it done in record time still. Spend time grabbing the relics, take a break, touch grass. Then later pop relics and hunt down the sister. Having the lich sister beacons you can get from nightwave helps shorten time in between encounters since they force the encounter.
@@miss_bec I forgot to mention that the sisters have a chance of dropping a wildcard requiem mod making your subsequent sister/lich hunt that much easier should you continue
Use the Nataruk instead of Fulmin, I've been using it with Zephyr and sp enemies just melt when you land a perfect or charged shot.
I subsumed spectrorage and use spectrosiphon and see it working effectively.
Yea man her tornadoes shred
It's only to tooltips that make zephyr seem unappealing imo. But she's been 1 of my favs since i tried her years ago
People are underestimating zephyr's true power, this build shows how good of a Warframe Zephyr is
i lvoe zerphyr, im trying to build her to stay up without using much energy, i use aero vantage and im planing on putting some boreals anguish to further up the hover, that plus the antigrav ray in the sentinel for extra hovering. the build is usper cool too tx!
My friend recommend me buy the prime vault for zephyr (I was mr 8-10 at that time & still trying random wf to suit my playstyle) and she carries me all the way into steel path & arbitration. And she's still my go to wf whenever I feel the mission looks too difficult.
hey nice video, I got a question though, I'm a beginner that has rhino and Excalibur, just wonder if I get zephyr should I sell one of the frame I had or buy a new slot, I have never spend any Plat yet
I'm new to the game been playing in about a month Zephyr was my second frame I picked volt first and I feel like I don't need any other warframes
thanks for this, i now have a reason to return to her.
My pick for steel path is too slap on spellbind so zephyr doesn't die to random electric procs.
Zephyr is my steel essence survival farm frame with spectrorage
Another thing in open areas is the Aim Glide fall speed mods, so you can just stay airborne and snipe people. Optimized? Probably not. But it IS funny.
Can we see the ground pound build? Its sounds fun to play
I use an extremely similar build, but with a 2forma nataruk and so far I’ve not encountered anything that survives the first shot.
i personally like her 1 just being able to fly is fun so i got rid of the 2 since i dont see any reason to have it the 4 does that for me so i dont see a reason for me to do it when i can leave it to my 4 so i replaced my 2 with gara for infinte energy just replaced streamline (i dont have maxed out energize probably wont ever have maxed out energize so this makes it so i dont have to just hope enemies drop orbs which they wont)
savvy with arca plasmor gets eclips scaling and its def better to use it than even prime point blank.
Could you just use a regular Arca Plasmor in place of the tenet one?
I put Spectrorage over her 1. It makes her immune to the things that can hit through her 3, except for Stalker and Zanuka. Also, Spectosiphon lets me be lazy about energy.
silence is fckin great on her, so she nullifies eximus (and acolytes and etc.) abilities, making her even more invulnerable and chill
Would steflos be an ok alternative to the fulmin and plasmor at earlier stages of the game? Still kinda new but I managed to get that instead.
Zephyr main here. Currently watching and interested in your overkill build. Wonder what it is lol
Edit: ok I'm changing my gun
Trumna is absolutely silly on her, recharges the alt-fire instantly
@@chriscooper1449 I know but I'm pretty sure that isn't intended lol. I'ma stick with the arca haha.
Feels bad when fulmin prime came out and there goes forma and cata :)
Would you make a video of any frames that changed builds after the new arcanes
How did you get rad + mag+ heat on your arca plasmor while only modding for viral + heat? Is it a radiation progenitor, and if so how does the magnetic get into the mix?
Both variations of the Arca Plasmor have innate radiation (just like the Fulmin has innate electricity) so if you make the Tenet progenitor magnetic, then you get both radiation & magnetic on it right from the get go i.e before modding.
steel path is actually chill path when your name happens to be in the last letters of the alphabet
What other weapons would be good? I’m only mr 6 so I can’t get those right now
Remember jumping gives hella crit as well
Zephyr is the most underrated frame in the game she is crazy strong
Zephyr is fine, it's just a shame that the game is so unstable with ragdolled enemies, using her tornadoes to group up enemies then deal gas or electric damage makes the game stutter like mad.
Coil horizon is an easy replace for her 2, as the range on coil horizon is larger and primes enemies with electric for gundition overload effects.
tbh her 2 is actual good, i would replace her one so u can clumb up enemies from farther away
Coil horizon is slow and clunky. Air burst is very fast and just slightly less range.
Whats the best squad in Warframe
Dude this is unreal. Last time I played Zephyr is when they FIRST gave her Airburst. I took her to PoE, was very underwhelmed, and haven't played her in years. This sh!t right here though? God damn. The Airburst has serious range when all modded up. Would this be better than Larva on Protea? Thanks for the vid!! :)
Airburst has 8m pull radius and 2 sec duration at base. Larva has 12m pull and 7 sec base. Larva still better .
@@Zelsius00 larva is slower and is clunky
Think calibans sphere has longest range
The airburst is kinda meh honestly, it's one of the worst ensnare abilities and cc from the tornadoes is enough
can i use arca plasmor instead of fulmin
Also while you have the wind it increases projectile speed I was wondering also if your discord has Xbox players also in it every discord seems to be pc only
They made such amazing changes to Zephyr and I’m like…what about Hydroid? Valkyr? Frost? Regardless, thanks for the builds
What element is your tenet arca plasmor?
Can I ask what the purpose really of building for Ability Strength on Zephyr is if you aren't going to be Dive Bomb spamming?
I always loved Zephyr Prime design for all the years she was not good, it’s time to be a predator bird!
Because range for your 2 becomes range for your 4.
@@Hallowex Where did you find that info?
@@NobuTea he means that you can use your 2 to pull enemies near your 4 and basically extend it's range...
Here I thought the weaker version of the tenet arca plasmor was the arca plasmor...
Also don't forma fulmin because fulmin prime isn't to far out.
What element do you recommend for the Tenet Arca Plasmor? Heat? I just finished my last lich but wasn't sure what weapon to hunt next.
Magnetic
In the words of terminal montage "BIRD UP"
Can this work with regular Arca Plasmor?
What is the element that you got with that tenet arca plasmor? (The one you started with)
Looks like electric but not too sure.
