Hello, I haven't used the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen, so i can't comment on that. But the battery life of the Garmin watch here is much longer, thats one of my favourite things about Garmin watches. And thank you!

@magnaraihuangdinata615 If you want a square watch, it's a good option, but if you want a circular one, I think the Venu 2S is a better option as it has more features and higher durability. There are no official stats on battery longevity or updates. That being said, I've had some Garmin watches for 3+ years that still work fine, have no battery life issues, and are still getting updates in 2024. Also, being released in 2022 is not very old lol I have Garmin watches from 2019, still going strong.

When it comes to music you can transfer songs & podcasts from your computer (MP3 files) or you can download Spotify, Amazon Music or Deezer playlists onto your smartwatch and listen phone free with Bluetooth headphones. The music download times are much faster on the SQ2 music vs SQ Music. Overall the music function is great.

Hello! I'd recommend watching my individual reviews on both watches to help learn a bit more about them to make your decision if you haven't already. And overall if you want voice assistant and better sleep tracking I'd go with the Fitbit Sense 2. While, if you want better activity tracking and the ability to download music on your watch and listen phone free with Bluetooth headphones I'd go with the Garmin Venu SQ2 Music here.
Also, any Fitbit I’ve had dies within the first year….I’ve had a few and I will not be buying another. I know other people who have had the same issue.

Hello, yes the gold bezel will last, has in my experience. And the battery life is the same as when I got it, no noticable change. @@solitude8375 I can't answer which one your wife would like more. However, I do prefer the Forerunner 255S out of the two watches. Also, if you want a watch that looks more feminine I'd consider the smaller sized Venu 2S, as the Venu SQ 2 isn't overly feminine looking in my opinion it's more unisex and may be a bit big if your wife has a small wrist. I've also done a full review on the Venu 2S as well as a Venu 2S vs Venu SQ 2 comparison, if your interested.
Hi Eden, I actually don't use Strava currently, but I recall when setting up the watch it gave me the option to set up Strava as well. After you set it up and login I presume the runs will auto connect to Strava each time you sync your watch in the Garmin Connect App.

Hi Hannah, there are many differences between those 2 smartwatches, some key ones are the design (square vs circle, band size), battery life, display type (amoled vs transflective sunlight visible display) the interface, the activities and metrics they tracks(ex. Vivoactive 4s can track floors climbed and altitude while the Venu sq 2 cannot, venu SQ 2 can track HIIT Vivoactive 4s cannot) and much more. I'd recommend you watch Vivoactive 4s review if you haven't already to get some more information on that smartwatch. They are both great smartwatches in my opinion.
