They may cost more than others but when you compare the quality, finish, engineering , design and features to other campers this thing is in a class of its own. Will be still on the road years after the others have disappeared. I can’t afford one myself but it great to dream and watch this awesome Aussie company kicking goals, engineering master pieces, employing young Aussies, and teaching skills to future generation of our kids. #dreambig
Absolutely amazing product … only ad ons I hope can come standard in later units is a larger inverter ( us market .. we love our gadgets as much as our toys ) and a mounting system for Jerry cans / water jugs in the front … My real question is with the camping / rv / trailer world getting more advanced bringing in new innovative ideas with tech and features I wonder what’s next for patriot campers and their units as well as their PCOR program

Has the electric lid been improved to allow opening from any point around the trailer? My 2021 X1h will only open when the key fob is close to the sensor on the kitchen side, intermittently when held in the air at the front or back of the trailer and not at all when on the tent access (drivers) side of the trailer.
I’m confused why both the X1’s have the opening for the tent away from the awning. If it rains, you’re going to get wet running from the awning to the tent. I know it’s only a short distance but it’d be better to not get wet.
I’m not sure about the new awning, but on the previous awning sold with the X1’s, there is an awning attachment to shelter the space between the rear of the trailer and the entrance to the tent.
