Is there a toilet option?
We owned an X1 a few years ago and loved it. We’re in the market again and looking at Patriot. Disappointed to see there’s still no freestanding awning? This is one of the big downsides for us and a bit of a deal breaker. Can a freestanding awning be retrofitted on the scissor bracket?
Unfortunately not, our design won’t allow for a free standing awning sorry!
Got the x1 gen 2 to replace our old x1 and I am in tears! I hate hate hate it sooooooooooooo much. I can’t open the kitchen drawers with my ling nails so we had to add zip ties which looks like shit. You can’t access the sink without pulling out the fridge and all. The kitchen storage is a joke and the opposite of user friendly. The bar is gone which is a HUGE inconvenience. Can’t get into the utensils drawer because this table is there now which is ugly and blocks the drawer and at night I have to shine a light inside to see what I need. I can’t open the awning without opening up the entire bed…yikes! Pantry storage is smaller. Zero assurance that the new soft touch doors are latched. And if they’re off I have to find my key fob, engage them and only then can I open things. If I can’t find that key fob I have to open on door to hit a switch inside to turn then lights on so then I can open doors. There are tacky stickers all over it and in general just feels so inferior to the original design. I reckon the family is more focused on racing now instead of this. I’m in tears about it all, it’s a constant fight now between my husband and me and now my once loved camping experience has turned into nothing but extra work and worry. I wish we could return it honestly.

Is it possible to put roof racks on the top? For surfboards etc...
Not for the X1 model. However our the X3 and X1-N would be good options for this as they have our EXORACK mounting system👌
How much is is and are there sides to the awning as optional extras

Hi can the kids tent fit under the composite hood? When packing up.
Yes you can pack the kids room into the lid. Too much bedding may effect your ability to keep the kids room attached 😊
