For me the coolest parts are when they have a classical piece as ambience but then have the crazy screechy guitar match the melodies and outline the chord progressions it’s simply the coolest shit ever heard of

It's almost implausible to find a vocalist that could match the energy of this music

The only reason it's called ascension and that the intro gives you the impression of ascending, is only so they can throw you into the fiery pits of hell from higher!😂

Fun Fact: Nik said one of the riffs nearly ended up being the riff for Deathphonk's SAMSON!
What Bodgan said about the vocals is what my brain says about Animals as Leaders when I listen to their music.
There's a bunch of moments on this album that are just straight up dubstep and I love it.

It absolutely scratches the Doom OST itch that you don't hear often. The entire album just makes me happy

Part of me wants to hear vocals. Most of me wants just the music.
I'll be honest, I won't be listening to this a lot, but I love that they're doing this. Finally some good fucking innovation. If someone takes inspiration from them but tones it down a bit for softies like me and adding a vocalist, I might get a new favourite band.
I know exactly what you mean. I think for me it’s because it’s so mental all of the time, it’s starts to lose its impact. If you had a band that for breakdowns or sections of songs went full blown Mirar, but not the whole time…it would be perfection.
Yeah, the innovators are never the ones to make it really big. Can't wait to see this evolve into a new thing
This album feels like you're actually descending down through hell in an elevator and the piano parts are just elevator music, the heaviness is the soundtrack when the doors open

I love some thall. Humanity's Last Breath, Vildhjarta, and Reflections.
And I want to be clear. Mirar is damn good. No question. Nothing wrong with it in any way.
But it just doesnt do anything for me. I get why people dig it. But just doesn't work for me. Which is ironic I suppose. Fronterier is one of my favorites right now. And I think both Fronterier and Mirar have alot in common.
It’s because people are treating this band like the second coming of Christ and like we’ve never had this exact sound before even though it’s been done to death. And this whole “this is the heaviest thing ever!” draws people in just to be absolutely objectively false and sets you up for failure. This band rocks, but it’s like 7/10 and barely unique
@@DeadTempoPromotions Calling this barely unique is going to far to the opposite side. They've created a unique sound within a genre and are moving beyond the genre itself. Reflections at this point is 60% Calle as he ghostwrites most of it. HLB is not as "thall" imo, it's more to a core'esque sound.
Mirar goes more in a producer/production direction where this is just making music for the fun of it, making it wacky making it crazy as you can go. The mix of baroque with EDM/Hardstyle elements and having the Thall ambience and guitars is very unique.
To each their own, if you don't like it you don't like it and you don't have to. but calling this barely unique is objectively just wrong mate.

@@Unearthlywhales I am super happy that you mentioned HLB in this sense, as I was catching myself thinking about HLB actually turning somewhere else from proper Thall sound after their 2013 HLB album, becoming more of a heavy deathcore with some elements of Thall. And after I've heard Mirar my first thought was that HLB should have been the one developing into this sound.

I understand that this masterpiece doesn't need a vocalist, but would love to see somebody like Marcus Vik of Invent Animate doing some beautiful vocals on this.
Marcus vik would not be my first choice. Maybe Robin from Allt, just because he's already in a thall band. Not this insane but u get what i mean.

The instrumental is great but they lack a vocalist
This is fine as just instrumental. I think the instrumental is too busy for a vocalist, they'd probably have to dial it back a bit for a vocalist to fit in nicely.
This does not need a vocalist imo. The music speaks for itself

@fire3005 I get that, but this instrumental is so insane they don't need a vocalist. Not that vildjharta isn't insane, but the instrumentals here seem like they're trying to be their own vocals, and it works.
