@@julioqld I regret buying my wildtrack. 12000km and the dealer is rubbish. Engine light is on service light can't be reset. The car is a dud and the dealer is worse. Should of stuck with my hilux although that had issues too. Nothing is perfect these days!

I have a Kia Sportage diesel and I am very satisfied with the car. I also have a GWM ute that I planned to upgrade to a Kia Tasman ute, but when I saw how ugly it looks, no way, the Ford Ranger is a better option.
So, the "Fugly" front-end is designed in-mind with the bull-bar not obscuring front-grille air intake into the engine - Hmmm....🤔 It doesn't look all that bad with the bull bar. 🤔
Ranger has 2.0L. Offroad capability doesn't matter 90% of 4x4 utes never leave tarmac. The cab will be big plus for school run and shopping which will be where most are used. Looks is personal thing but has taken some queues from new landcruiser Prado.

We've waited so long for this, and whilst the front design is very disappointing, and engine spec just not up to the heavy stuff like Ranger and hilux, so long as kia dont try and sell it for a similar price point, then i don't think it'll do too badly, anything above $60k is too much
I have a Mahindra, it looks crap, the tech works sometimes, it never behaves the same two drives in a row. But, it starts first turn of the key every time, is easy to service. I treat it like a red headed step kid and just chuck anything in it, a lot of times I don't even bother to lock it, it gets 8.4 Ltr/100km no matter how it's driven and if it was totalled tomorrow at 2 years old I still haven't lost as much money as people have lost in depreciation on a $70k Toyota or Ranger.
Kia has done something bold. They have made their ute look very different from all other utes in the market. This is what Mercedes should have done with their x class ute. Mercedes made the x class 'just another ute' and it flopped. Now they have discontinued it.
Looks like an angry bull, the most masculine vehicle with powerful looks I have seen since the Rambo Lambo LM002. Good onya Kia for being bold! Better than those beaver BM’s for sure…
I like it. They are pushing the boundaries a little bit in ute design. They haven't taken the safe cookie cutter ute design route. The interior design is also best in class in my opinion. I'd like to see an SUV version in the future. Kia has one of the biggest ranges of PHEV and electric vehicles so I expect they'll release more fuel efficient and more powerful versions in the future.
So much hype and hysteria FFS!!! Reminds me of the AU Falcon when it was first released. 😂 If it has awesome fuel efficiency then you can count me in. Seems very practical and comfortable. Just like an ugly Au falcon😂
It looks utilitarian, I like it. Eventually, most of the people who are completely confused by its aesthetic will come around. In a sea of dual cab sameness it'll do just fine.

The 2.5 petrol turbo is the exact same engine used in the Sonata N Line/ Genesis GV70, GV80 Torque is rated at 422Nm, so it’s less than the diesel, but obviously it’ll be much more powerful rated between 213-224kW
The side storage is were you put the car cover that you use to hide it when parked , so it doesn’t scare the neighbours 😂😂

The 2.5 petrol turbo is the exact same engine used in the Sonata N Line/ Genesis GV70, GV80
Torque is rated at 422Nm, so it’s less than the diesel, but obviously it’ll be much more powerful rated between 213-224kW
I like the design. But that engine is a deal breaker. I've rented a Kia Carnival for about a week. And that 2.2 diesel engine feels under powered...
