Thank you. This was the most gruesome of Maigret's murder stories. Those poor people tortured and slaughtered was beyond evil. Marvellous acting and production. Xxx❤
Wonder about Simenon's view of women, given the level of mysogeny in evidence here. Even if he is representing the prevailing values of the day, this narrative belies a disturbing, aggressive & sad aspect of the author's experience of women. Wonder if he had any daughters, & if he did, wonder if he would have appreciated similar references made towards them.
really? you wonder if he had any daughters? so you decided to pronounce a judgment as broad and severe as misogyny but didn't even take the time to research his biography at all? sounds about par for the internet these days. thanks for your worthless evaluation.
Love these books; the narration is first class. Thank you!

Ew
I wonder if Simeon was influenced by Charles Mason or if Manson was aware/influenced by this story. Bit more British than French, I think.
Thank you these are SO entertaining & well done.
I love these stories ❤️
My relaxations shows, love them. Thanks 👍
Great dramatization of a great book, thank you for sharing!!!!
Just wondering about the great music….story really gripping too, thank you.
One of the best Maigret's, in my mind.
Love it ❤
I really like Bernard Hepton, but I’m not sure if he fits the role as well as some others.
Very good!
Like these actors
Hate music 🎶. I’m probably the only one. Great story 👏
Agree, especially when the music is so much louder than the story voices!
Excellent series. This one has some goofy background music in places the others dont.
One of the most….
A child whose mother and father tortured and murdered people? I wouldn't sleep easy

Back in those days, no men had daughters.

Fortunately no lesbianazi or feminazi
Simenon was a notorious womanizer - and regular user of
Ladies of the night ....several thousand apparently.
Trolls !
Bernard Hepton totally miscast here. Abysmal acting in some of the other roles . Ludicrous plot . Hard to believe this is a BBC production . ..
Bollocks
Hard to believe that you dislike the acting in these plays yet still listen to them all. Weird
Disagree, but each to his own
