Thanks for this. Bit of a duff Maigret? Not the most challenging of roles, but seems to delight in being the antithesis of other characterisations. Bring back the slow, thoughtful and somewhat lugubrious version! Strange choice - Maigret on speed - seems determined to shout out his lines as fast as possible. In the process, succeeds in emasculating the part and makes the character instantly forgettable. I suspect an interloper that is not part of this series, given the absence of the somewhat turgid theme songs. Don't be put off! The rest are fine.

Dreadful music. Bad meigret. & if I want to listen to rubbish music I will get my Owen type. I wanted a audio book😢
