Synopsis: In the not too distant future: everybody is registered by a number in one central computer. Jonny Lawler is a young hospital doctor who has worked out a risky but so far effective way of protecting those of his patients who have lost their numbers. But when a colleague calls him in to see the victim of a' car crash, he finds himself unwittingly in conflict with another form of manipulation of the system.
Thank you ...for yet another synopsis..appreciated!
Thank you.
Thank you for your synopsis I think the channel should play synopses in the description bar not just endless links to Instagram and other social media and other products.
Thank you so much
Very kind of you TM 😊
Somehow play this seems more relevant than ever today.
Very good play.
This is on its way for real
Love these..just a wee question..Would you be able to put a brief synopsis at the beginning.. only so I know what to expect ..thank you so much for posting these
might be more fun not knowing what to expect.....just saying :)
I agree, and if it was put at the top anyone could hide it if they didn’t want to see.
I really enjoyed this, eerie, and a sad ending. Kept me gripped
Loved it, weird vibe and all! 😊😊
Very disturbing to put some of these futuristic plays into context it would good to know the original broadcast year.
Chilling. V good though
This is torturous listening to what’s happening to this poor family. I hope it’s a rude awakening to some who take things for granted . So much for the system
How far off is this dystopian world it sounded very 11984ish scary stuff.
Anyone have a date for first broadcast?
The ghastly battle with bureaucratic inflexibility will ring true to many (but hopefully with less extreme results). The story is clever, intriguing and has an unexpected Dennis Wheatley element that I found ...well, unexpected!
Wow! And I thought the problem of trying to get someone in the office to tell me what I can have out on my apartment balcony before the fire department comes round and fines me was frustrating. This was really intense! We sometimes have our water shut off for repairs and need to deal with the short inconvenience, but what this married couple went through was extreme. It makes one think about their friends too.
Man I got busy w my kids and got lost in the middle. I have no idea what this was about 😂
I'm back to finish it. Lol
Nope still LOST me at the grand Templar stuffs. Still had me hooked. Thank you
That is explained at the end.
Confusing at first, but stay with it
this was disturbing a real horror
Futuristic plot of intrigue, paranoia and duplicity. 😲😵😨
I enjoy this. But big brother is watching us 🤔🤔🤫

Just when I thought I was hearing a play for the first time I realise I heard it some years ago! Do you all go to the same place to upload plays?
Sometimes they just steal from someone who's already uploaded it. That's why it's best to search for the play by name (once you know you're interested in it) and choose the oldest upload, so the original uploader gets the view.
Wow, this was written by Marge Simpson.
Jeff Dixon, 😅
Lol I knew she had hidden talent behind that wig. 😂
Lol
Ye gods, that was a weird one. Had to listen though.
Ah those were the days! Back then they used people to turn you away... now it's automated messages.
Gave up after 25 minutes. Appalling play.
😎😎😎
Bit scary. Oh er.
Story is interesting but the sound quality is bad bad. Such a loss.
Too sad to listen. A very sad society today.
One hour and twenty minutes of my life I will never get back. God, the acting! Truly dreadful. “Terry, she’s a snooper!” Pmsl.
Entertainment factor: Dubious..!
Democrat play book. "you are cancelled"
Eh, not really. No one's shutting off utilities, freezing bank accounts, etc.
@@grantsuhs2526 🤡
Moron...
I would say MAGA playbook.
Had to give up. Confusing. And weird.
Agreed lol x
It was hard going initially but basically a guy who was the head of a cult cud ruin people's lives by entering a programme originally made as a failsafe to deter wud be terrorists etc. Within a click of a keyboard no bank account, water cut off, gas the whole lot and all cuz either ur face didn't fit or someone didn't like u!! Nice heh?
@@simonmcgrath4112 Why can't you spell out words in full?
@@pauladavis5733 oh come on, when u txt or comment sometimes u cut corners, it's a lazy form of writing I know but maybe it's due to us having mobile phones and being lazy with our grammar. I am totally banged to rights and will try to be more grammatically correct in my spelling of our great English language.
@@simonmcgrath4112 lol 😂 ……Thankyou for your explanation I’ve just bumped into this play again And saw your reply. And your eloquent response to Paula Davies
Over Acted and Completely..Annoying!!
Not as good as I thought it was going to be,all a bit annoying really.
