Great video, appreciate the info presented about the indicator nymph rig. Appreciate you going into every aspect of building it to accomplish the cast but drift also! Thanks for taking the time to share. Going to use this next week, heading out to Missouri to trout fish their streams!

Video paused and I missed what tippet weight you built the leader down with. Great stuff as always! Thanks for sharing.

Try playing the video again. I was able to watch it all the way through. Also, it may be an internet connection issue. However, thanks for watching the vids and hope you are able to watch it in full.

Hey there Norman, so what's the total length of your particular leader set up, to your total fly rod length? Rod weight?

That was great Norm. But it has got me thinking about presenting the fly at the depth required and not missing out on the take on the indicator. I my self do not do much with the indicator. But I love a challenge. The weight is always going to be the problem due to its position. But what about putting the weight on the point. The amount of weight is critical to the speed of water, But using that putty stuff you got is going to be a god send. From the weight I would have a dropper of about six to eight inches long for the fly, and positioned about two to three inches higher than the depth you require from the bottom. So if you need to present the fly say 8'' from the bottom. Try 11'' from weight to first dropper. This 3'' difference allows for drag on the line. Now getting the perfect weight requires a bit of false runs. To much weight the indicator will sink. This is where your putty stuff really works, as you can take a bit off or add a bit on. This is just a starter for you. I have never tried this my self. But I have thought it through a bit. I will put a bit more thought into it. I can not try myself as I don't do river fishing any longer. But most of all you will have direct contact to the fly and the indicator will pick up every tweak. Keep in touch mate. Shaun UK.

Is that 2 non slip loops in the eye of the first fly?

That's correct, double non slip loops tied to the eye of the first fly.
