I've learned never to answer what you think they want to hear. Always Answer the opposite. Example. My past employer would say I'm the best employee he had. Answer. Strongly disagree. This makes you look like your a very honest person, you're concise and you know your strengths and weaknesses. Remember it's a psych test.

No clerks at Lowes were ever given that pre employment test but they made me take it before dinging me for the job. Happened twice. Highly discriminatory because there's no "right" answers and not everyone is forced to take it. So its used any way the manager wants, no basic criteria for passing means its not a real test. No way to complain to human rights agencies, no one cares about this kind of abuse against the labor force (divide- and- hire, arbitrary criteria etc...)

No you independently assess your employer and decide if you want to be with someone like that all day long..or not. DO NOT AGREE TO THESE ILLEGAL TESTS, they are imposed to discourage you in the first place, ie: that there will be any democracy in your work life, you agree to take that test you agree to be dictated to at work. You agree that subtle unannounced MAJOR discrimination in hiring...is ok....

If they're only relevant to the pre-hire assessment, but not to the job, then they're NOT RELEVANT...No company should test a candidate on anything that is not relevant to the job
That's the problem I had with the test I took the "right" answer would get someone injured in my workplace and it was a hire within situation but the question were not relevant to the environment so I failed because my answers were actually appropriate for where I work. If employers want to use assessments the question should be relevant to the work environment even in leadership. Don't ask me about a fight because a fight in my environment you technically can't ask that reasons being its a manufacturing company, someone will get hurt and I'm Not getting in there to break it up if I can be injured too so if no, don't get involved is the wrong answer so be it.😂😂
