Hey, how much of an EV can be made without OIL? No more plastic parts, rubber tires or lubricants. The Resin to make the fiberglass for the windmills comes from where? Each 1 of those windmills has 1000 gallons of Turbine OIL inside. Solar panels lose power or break and go directly to a landfill along with EV batteries, worn out windmills, all the "GREEN" energy dreams that are made possible by fossil fuels. 300 Years of fuels beneath our feet which is going to be forever worried over by fanatics who are only in this for $$$. Let's replace wells with intensive strip mining to make EV's. Like all you want to just tell half truths. For one anything that is made with oil can be made with hemp oil, paints, cleaners plastics, rubber, turbine oil, etc and gas and be done cheap than oil and all would be safe non-toxic, we know this for decades, but we cant let the farmers make a decent living instead of big oil. the new solar panels are 40 % more efficient and are clean safer and last longer, but will never be released , just like the new battery technology that is not lithium and is better than lithium , cobalt and again being suppressed. Elon knows all this new batteries but wont release it to the public because he wants to make all the money from them. Just like solar paint, on demand hydrogen, etc ,etc all being suppressed and have been around for decades. I am not saying give up fossil fuels , all I am saying is neither side is telling the truth and doing what is best for the people or earth. You can use all the fossil fuels you want, just stop all the poisons, toxins, chemicals being put in our air , water , food that is making us all sick and killing everything. You cant see that they want you to pay them for electric and gas instead of having no bill for electric or put water in your car instead of gas. I value my liberty to be able to keep my house warm and drive to see people I care about. If I can do things in a more environmental way, I will.
I think there are examples of corruption, like with the shunning of hydrogen cars and with the rejection of tidal lagoons. Looking into that would be something I could really get on board with.

Are environmentally sustainable alternatives being blocked by feasibility or corruption/vested interest?
