You know, I used to be against mandatory DNA tests at birth, but the more I see this show, the more I believe in the idea. It might hurt some feelings in the short run, but it could save a lot of hurt feelings (and money) in the long run.

J F I highly doubt it. They didn’t even say anything bad about her. Every time they talked about their mothers’ neglect, they said it in a “matter of fact way” and emphasized what their “supposed” father didn’t do.

She didn't continue school because she didn't have a guardian to register her. He was her legal guardian and did not "sign her over" to anyone else when he left the city. He is at fault for her not being educated initially. As for the first GED situation, that's on her.

I've seen this countless times. They hear their moms stories and she comes off as a saint of course and then they come to the father with this belief and speak to him about events that happened before they were even conceived as facts.
They both learned a hard lesson about there always being two sides to every story.
This man may have been a lot of things, but their father is not one of them. He showed up, your mothers, who did no wrong in their eyes, didn't show up and we know why.
Edit: the way Tuesday whines about him being in his grandkids life is just so spoiled.

She was 12 at the time. She is trying to take responsibility now, but if she couldn't register for school, that wasn't her fault. She's only 22 or 23 now. When you don't have an education, your life can spiral out of control before you know it. It doesn't take sense to have 3 kids, it is more the lack of it to have kids you can't provide for and that has everything to do with a lack of education.

She would have only missed a couple of years since she said she went back to live with her mom and brother. But she was really young. Can't relay blame her for things she did as a young child. Ged tests don't really cost much though. No reason she couldn't have already gotten it.
I don't see how he puts up with either of them. Blaming him for dropping out of middle school. Blaming him for not taking her GED test, claiming she was so distraught about her relationship with him, whining about how he isn't there for her kids and how they need a grandfather.

Second, before someone can judge and say ''Oh, own up to your mess'' they need to know that if someone doesn't know who their biological father/mother is or or their father/mother wants nothing to do with them, IT DOES have long-lasting effects, both mentally and emotionally. Unless you've gone through something like that, you don't know how hard some things can be.

I see so many men come in saying she was sleeping with so many other people. So why are you sleeping with her unprotected? Pregnancy isn't the only thing that can come out of it. STDs are no joke. He is such a good man... and although he didn't have a lot, he tried to do the best he could for those girls. Even after finding out the results, he still cares for them and empathizes with them. That's so commendable.

The government shouldn't be able to force a DNA test otherwise but it should be mandatory for those wanting to sign the birth certificate because a birth certificate is legal document.
@@perfectchemistry8291 but that's still government compulsion. And that wouldn't be in the child's best interest so the government isn't going to let a child go without a legal father to force a DNA test.
Those papers and pamphlets they give you warn you not to sign if you have any doubts. They tell you not to sign it if you're not sure and they tell you the consequences of changing your mind a later.

@@herbtender910 I heard about guys having to take a "blood test" for paternity back in the '60s when it wasn't the DNA exact that has been since 1988. It was about 80% back then, but DNA is 99.9%. I just figure if something is really important to a person, they will spend the money. Apparently, this guy had money to spend in the bar. Sure was a lot of stress on everyone not knowing.

You noticed that too. Even after the results were read, he never hugged or clutched at Samantha's hand. He was devastated at the news about Tuesday because he invested time and money on her. Samantha was never an issue for him. He's going to completely ignore her now. I feel so sorry for her but perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. She can let him go; emotionally and physically.

I disagree with her logic that 'Your my father you're supposed to do for me.' You are grown, he no longer has to support you and give you money. My father doesnt just hand me money for things, I work for things I want. If he wants to support you then that is great, but he doesnt HAVE to. imo 🤷♀️

I want one of you to not be able to go to high school because your father forgot to sign you up for it. Or to be raised by your grandparents because your father wouldn't take you into his home, and then turn around and say that you have the most respect for him. XD
TWO women are explaining to you just how little of a father this man is, and you guys are complaining because the women are ungrateful towards him?! Anytime they point out an incredibly obvious point of parental neglect, he snaps that they, the small children, should have fought harder for his attention so that he would care more about doing his parental duty.
When that is the type of Father you have, yes, you asking him for $50 to get a bill paid is you trying to get his attention and something resembling proof that he actually cares about you. He isn't going to visit you, you see that he already is making excuses that he can't be bothered to actually see either one of these women or their children because he works so much. XD
Well it worked out that he was right about one of them. Man played not by one woman but by two.
that was one heartbreaking episode (Only for the man though) i think he tried to be a good father. Some things are just not easy as we think it was.

It's heartbreaking for more than the father- imagine if you grew up not knowing who your real dad is. The two girls probably are heartbroken as well.
Great but emotional case. Shock horror when told he isn't the father of either girl - he looked as if he was about to have a heart attack.
why does she need to find out if he is her dad if she seems not to care at all about him because she says he never was there so why start now

I don't think we should demand money to our parents for our studies after a certain specially when they are getting old. We can ask nicely to borrow and its up to them to say yes no or otherwise...
Except that he had legal full custody of her but not physical custody so no one could register her for school. He could have just given a notarized statement that would have allowed her to get registered for school.

I love when the judge asked him about why he doubts that they're his kids he says the mom was sleeping around. Then the daughter attacks him saying he was sleeping around way more. Like his premiscus actions are not in question because he wasn't the one who was pregnant.He wasn't even saying she slept around in a mean way like chill girl.

Guys I bet that the mother instilled that hatred in them. I'm sure they were told many times that everything was that guys fault. And once you instill hatred in a child it's hard for them to grow out of it. Hopefully this is a wakeup call that their mom is not really truthful and if they shouldn't jump to conclusions and point fingers based on her words.
