- Team Losi XX Where to start with this old school modern technology.
Should i start and get a new body, and I know I'm have to find rear arms. Then electronics should I go retro or should I go modern brushless?
For set up, ive seen Gabe Boudreau and Brian Kinwald set up from 1997, and do i still have those pistons.

Making me want to rebuild my XXT! Nice work.
One thing I learned from wrenching on 1:1 cars never give up your old specially tools just because you’ve moved on to something else doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t need them again.
I still have some RPM tools for those Losi shocks (ok yeah I still own a XXTCR) but I don’t carry my SAE tools to the track anymore just whatever I need for whatever I’m running.
Oh yea, I know that now. 😆.
Like the ae oring and piston tool. It was just a plastic tool you put the oring, and spacer on, to put it in the shock.
I had alot of them. Don't know where they went.

Had mine tricked out all the graphite parts, anodized screw, tungsten everything that was available.
Was the most advanced designed car for it's time.
Miss that car so much
Mine wasn't soo good to me when they first came out.
But I am gonna turn it around.
@@rcvitals yeah8ne wasn't either it took quite a bit. I had alot of help from the guys at the local track.
Shock springs had to be changed (think it was day glow green front and pink on back), shock oil, cut a rib off outside rib on the 5 rib fronts or something like that.
Anyways I'm sure you'll figure it all out.
