- In celebration of the fall finale shows we have starting this week, here is a live recording we made a few months ago of Harvest Moon, one of our all time fave covers. Come see us play some gorge theaters, after a lifetime of outdoor shows it’s gonna feel like chamber music!!

What a beautiful performance of an amazing song. Normally, you only want to cover a song of this caliber, if you can do it the justice it deserves. They get my approval. Emily Frantz voice sounds better than ever, and I am always blown away by Andrew Marlin’s gentle mando playin

I love your music , I’ve got head and neck cancer and tumors keep popping up because it’s fast growing and aggressive,but listening to your music makes me happy , I used to live in North Carolina and you sound just like it down there ,I had to move to indianapolis Ind because of my kids being moved up here and for the longest time I missed North Carolina music until I found you now I thank Hod I found you on TH-cam please keep playing what you play and know I’ll be listening to you until it’s time for me to go ❤️😊👍

How are you doing Kenneth? I know these times must be so hard on you and I hope you are letting your family and friends help carry some of the burden. I don't know how religious you are but just know that God is with you to talk to, and when going through hard times it's good to have someone to talk to. Sometimes it's good to meet others going through the same thing. I'm undecided to mention this to you, it's a story about a young man who got sick and didn't make it, yet I found it inspiring in that up until the end he lived his life as normal as possible. it's also a story about family.

Fantastic playing, great song and they add something to the original. Like the way the mandolin replaces the lead guitar from the original and adds to that with a nice solo.

One of my all time favorite songs. I've listened to many covers, seeking to find new interpretations. I love this one because it puts me in the country, under the stars and moon, listening to the sweet sound of music and love in the air. It's simply, but interestingly, lovely.
Just last week, I played your version of "Boots of Spanish Leather" for my nephew who lives in the Shenandoah Valley and is a singer-songwriter. He said, "Yeah, everyone around here knows and loves them.."

Spotify popped Watchhouse up on my recommendations, and I'm so glad it did. Totally amazing couple, it must be beautiful to make music with your wife/husband and have your voices compliment so well. Sadly my wife has a legal injunction barring me from singing in any public place.

I love how the mandolin accommodates her voice for this song . Soft and smooth.
Love this version. I play my own version of this (drop D, capo 2) at gigs because people expect the "Acoustic bible", and this is one classic tune that I love. I love to play it at outdoor gigs for couples who stay into the night for my music, when the moon is out and it is a beautiful evening. It has a very strong ambiance/mood.
