Barn find 1965 Volvo 122S Amazon rescue!

My first car love was old Volvos. I had a 1970 145, a 1966 122s, a 1960 544, and even got to work on and drive p1800 #62! SO when a friend called and asked if I wanted to rescue her 1965 122s I jumped at the chance. I worked on this car between 1991 and 1996 and new what kind of condition it was in. I also knew I wanted it, bad! Let's check it out together.

I realized after I made this I never checked if the engine was free turning! I went back today and it is, whew!

Thanks! I need to get it home! We just had a major early snow storm, so I may wait another week. I am confident it will run in very quick order. Then the fun starts with the reconditioning and preserving.

Wrong screws for the fuel sender = hence why the trunk mat is ruined :(

@@Misunderstoodboygenius They are aftermarket type (wrong thread) so the sender hasnt sealed 100% = fuel vapor has creeped up through the thread & dissolved the rubber. The 62 I currently work on suffer from the same :( Its possible to repair your mat thou -
