it wont. Closest thing to it is no rolls barred and its pretty good but they just had a controversey about 8 months ago with their host which theyre still recovering from. Also seems they only play games people pay them to play imo and lately thats been a bunch of more kid like games instead of stuff like this. Im kinda shocked how there isnt an amazing board game channel with how many people really want this kind of content.
Eldritch is one of the best games I have ever played. The story telling/ role playing is awesome and engaging. You could make a fan movie from a gameplay.
by far the easiest to follow game yet on tabletop. Great freaking job from the prdoucer/editing team! Thanks Geek and Sundry and Will getting my friends back into tabletop gaming!
Well after watching this, i kinda know what my group for cooperative games is missing. The pure atmosphere and the roleplaying. I will definitely try convincing them to do so. This is just more enjoyable than the constant discussing of the "best" next move. Thank you for this awesome video :D
Yeah, great crew. Though I have to say, I always like the guests. Usually a barrel of laughs. This one just happens to be a hat-trick, plus one of my favorite genre (Mythos).
I feel like Jessica's character is a lil' peppy teenager who just got out of her goth phase. Except her goth phase was attempting to summon an ancient demon. BUT NOW SHE'S GOOD! DEFINITELY! Ehehehe...
Probably the best set of guests for this season, reasonably worthy of being the last episode of the season. Even though I'm not big mythos person, the game is sufficiently interesting, but the guests make this episode for me.
Omg! Less than 14 minutes in and Winchester Mystery House comes up! So awesome! I actually work there so for everyone involved in this show: give me a heads up, come on back and I'll hook you guys up with some free tickets. We just opened up 40 more rooms of the mansion this year that's only available to see until the end of the year.
Yeah it's our Explore More Tour. There's official information about it on our website. It includes rooms like the basement, the witch's cap which was believed to be the original seance room before the blue seance room was constructed, several rooms that were damaged in the 1906 earthquake. I mean it's win - win if the people on this show want to experience it because I'd get to meet them and go on the free tours with them.
Abandoned and condemned? We're open for business 364 days of the year and renovations on the mansion are non stop to keep it in tact. It's one giant labyrinth antique with people from all over the world visiting every day. Each ticket is over $30 dollars just to keep the place standing and looking nice. You can toss anonymous and unsolicited at me, that's fine I don't mind because we're both just random TH-cam commenters, but a simple google search will tell you that's is one of the most haunted places in the country and a very popular tourist attraction.
Juancho Gabriel Saldaña ummm authors write. Rothfuss is not an author he is a guy who wrote two books once upon a time and lied about them all being finished to sell them to a fantasy community that had already been burned
Clearly he's still writing if you check his twitter and things. He wants the final book to be perfect- and so do us readers. Would you rather a rushed mess?
Keelan he is a pretentious tool, it has now taken him significantly longer then it took Michelangelo to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and this is for a series he said was done a decade ago
Couple of observations: You didn't mention that when on a named city space players can still choose a card from the general encounter deck (the black one, though admittedly there isn't often a good reason to do that anyway) and at 18:44 Stef moves using a ship ticket to Shanghai and then moves another space to The Himalayas: she couldn't actually do this, as the travel action states that tickets can only be spent to move additional spaces *after* your initial 1-space move. The entire reason that most of the expedition spaces are connected only via wilderness paths is so that investigators can't easily move to them with tickets, so she was essentially making the game easier for you than it should have been. :) You also didn't discard the Gnoph-keh after the initial encounter but it was gone in later shots so I assume someone noticed. :P Lily should have taken 2 damage from Riot, putting her down to 2 after the malfunctioning machine encounter. This means she would have had 3 health after using her action, and 4 after resting. Strategy point: In the turn where Jess went to Rome, instead of getting rid of her debt she could have moved then used her investigator ability to defeat both the Cultist and the Warlock, avoiding a fairly large chunk of health and sanity damage.
You're right. I originally thought he'd used a ticket but he prepared train travel instead of boat (which you can't do in Shanghai because there are no train paths connected to it) and he didn't use the ticket when he moved to space 17. The only way for him to make the move he did would have been to prepare boat travel and use the ticket when he moved.
At 23:30, Stef resolves the expedition encounter while there is still a monster in her space (since she wounded it, but didn't defeat it). This is wrong too, right? You only get a non-combat encounter after you've defeated all monsters on the corresponding space, unless, of course, you use a special effect (which she didn't).
Oh God... this is pure gold :D. I'm so happy that I found this... unhappy that I did so in the late evening knowing that I have a super long day ahead of me... I continue to watch though :P.
Yay. The last few episodes had not been my bag but this game was good simply because all the players just gel well together. Really enjoyed this one. Glad to see Tabletop has got its magic back.
It's the 1920's, they don't have a form for bank loans. They just give you the loan, and then if you don't pay it back they sacrifice you to Azathoth. That's how things worked back then, right?
I am so glad TableTop exists. Its great for people like me who need a walk through, want to see if a game is fun and worth buying, wants to know great nerdy games, AND loves watching geeks be geeks.
Love the game and the expansions are interesting. I watch part one and two of these episodes every few weeks because they are so entertaining. I listen to them as I work.
I have always liked the presentation of this series. In addition, this has introduced some fascinating board games, one of the I purchased. I wish I found more.
This cast has been fantastic. So funny and great synergy. I love Elder Sign and this game looks right up my alley. Definitely gonna be looking into getting it.
Eldritch Horror is still my favorite board game of all time. The sense of traveling to distant, exotic locales is excellent. Pair that with the need to make the smartest choices you can, as the creeping, lurking dread of the Mythos deck and monsters of extraordinary variety pursue you, all while excitedly anticipating what the next Asset in the Reserve, Spell, or Encounter might be... and you've got the most captivating game I've ever played.
I miss Will Wheaton's tabletop. I watched them all the time.
What happened to the show? I recently discovered the channel
We need to know
I feel ya and same here. I'm just glad that these old episodes are still here to enjoy. So many great gaming moments to relive!
I agree
Poncho legal issues of Geek and Sundry apparently snubbing him out of his fair part and he left because of it
I hope this show comes back, it is what got me into board games and ttrpgs.
Wish we could see Wil come back with another series like this. Sure miss all the silly shenanigans!
"You witness an unspeakable horror.
You loose one Will."
He dissappears from the table.
Considering the Curse of Wheaton, wouldn't that be a blessing?
The best 4 words Wil Wheaton has ever said.
"Internet, I want fanfiction."
Eldritch is one of the best games I have ever played. The story telling/ role playing is awesome and engaging. You could make a fan movie from a gameplay.
31:10 - "He's in the perfect position to help you... The Missionary position!" Patrick Rothfuss everybody!
"Shape of....uhhh..."
"Form of...I've got to sit down."
😂😂😂
45:15 for anybody else
Poor Wil and his crappy dice rolls ... not just this episode either LOL!!! 😄🤣😄🤣
I just did the Dark Pact last and had to choose another investigator to be devoured. My wife was still pissed at me this morning.
RIP
😂😂
I absolutely LOVE this series. Distantly my favorite Geek & Sundry show. MORE MORE MORE please!
by far the easiest to follow game yet on tabletop. Great freaking job from the prdoucer/editing team! Thanks Geek and Sundry and Will getting my friends back into tabletop gaming!
This channel is just essentially my online shopping cart.
Well after watching this, i kinda know what my group for cooperative games is missing. The pure atmosphere and the roleplaying. I will definitely try convincing them to do so. This is just more enjoyable than the constant discussing of the "best" next move. Thank you for this awesome video :D
Dude, my advice to your gaming group is to drop a speedball before playing.... make sure you film it.
In my opinion, I don't think you could've picked a better group to play this with. Stef might be one of the best guests you've ever had on.
Doesn't hurt that she's stunningly beautiful as well ...
Yeah, great crew. Though I have to say, I always like the guests. Usually a barrel of laughs. This one just happens to be a hat-trick, plus one of my favorite genre (Mythos).
@@Atlas_Redux I'm not the only one who noticed
Ever since I saw the Tabletop S4 line-up I'd been looking forward to seeing this game! And I get two parts!? Glorious day/weeks.
"I think she has a heart of gold. I think she's really reformed."
Boy does that ring ominous from Patrick's mouth during a rewatch.
This was extremely well edited. Impressive job to whoever edited this episode!!
Ahhh, Will Wheaton! You can't leave us with that cliffhanger! The suspense! OMG!
OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! I Am so happy! I love Patrick sooooo much! Thank you for doing this, everyone!!!
I feel like Jessica's character is a lil' peppy teenager who just got out of her goth phase.
Except her goth phase was attempting to summon an ancient demon.
BUT NOW SHE'S GOOD! DEFINITELY! Ehehehe...
Been waiting all season for this episode so excited! Excited to see them all go insane!!
"I'm a cultist. I'll follow anyone." I legitimately lol'd
Finally! One of my top 10 game of all time.
Definitely one of my favorite episodes so far. Great job! Love Stef's character storyline, lol
Ditto!
Great group, and I think the story-oriented nature of the game was perfect for them. I look forward to the next part!
Probably the best set of guests for this season, reasonably worthy of being the last episode of the season. Even though I'm not big mythos person, the game is sufficiently interesting, but the guests make this episode for me.
The look Stef had when she mentioned being typecast as a dominatrix was both scary and alluring at the same time.
Best group to game dynamic so far this season...and possibly of all time.
I hope wil starts this show back up again, there's so many new games for him to show off
This is what I love, being able to see the games before buying. Much love G&S!
Omg! Less than 14 minutes in and Winchester Mystery House comes up! So awesome! legit?

always accept anonymous &unsolicited invitations to abandoned & condemned buildings

I AM OBSESSED WITH THE WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE! Legitimately I've been like 4 times. Have to see those 40 rooms!!
best line: "Internet, I want fanfiction."
"if i might neckbeard a moment" i love that term for nerding out XD i'm so gonna take that.
Two things that are really awesome finally come together. Eldritch Horror and Tabletop! Just love it!!!
"....I could be Charlie!" Hahaha I love Patrick Rothfuss.
I met Pat Rothfuss this year at Gen Con almost by total accident. Got a pic with him too, such a cool dude.
Patrick Rothfuss is my favorite author! and Eldritch is one of my favorite BGs haha best of both worlds
Juancho Gabriel Saldaña ummm authors write. Rothfuss is not an author he is a guy who wrote two books once upon a time and lied about them all being finished to sell them to a fantasy community that had already been burned
Ex-Author : Rothfuss stopped writing years ago.
GinEric84 - Kinda like the guy writing the fantasy history book series on HBO?
I have wanted to see you guys play this for a long time! Mainly because when I play it with my mates it always absolutely kicks our arses!
It is so good to see the ghost of Jess after Stef sent her to "Seattle"! Wil did a great job channeling his inner Becca!
SUCH A GOOD EPISODE!!! part two come out already!!!
Jess was hilarious at every moment. Loved her.
Everyone was great this ep, I particularly enjoyed Patrick this time around. He has some great moments xD
"So I'm right where I expected to be. Right in my tabletop comfort zone, rolling like shit, failing all over the place." XD
I love every group that wil called to play so far. But this 3 are pure freaking gold.

also in wil's first turn he moved his character through two wilderness spaces
You're right. This, Misspent youth and FATECORE are probably my three Favorite episodes/two or three parter's to watch.
Oh God... this is pure gold :D. I'm so happy that I found this... unhappy that I did so in the late evening knowing that I have a super long day ahead of me... I continue to watch though :P.
Yes!!!!!! So excited that you're finally playing Eldritch as it's one of my favourite board games and Pat is the perfect fit for a game of this nature
awww man I love me a dose of Eldritch Horror! So many expansions though.
I have watched this and other old episodes SO many times, but in the absence of new ones... what can you do? Nothing else has replaced it for me.
"I'll follow anyone, I'm a cultist" 😂
Yay. The last few episodes had not been my bag but this game was good simply because all the players just gel well together. Really enjoyed this one. Glad to see Tabletop has got its magic back.
I think Jessica was actually my favourite in this. Like a HP Lovecraft version of Kimmy Schmidt.
Now I want to see that perky ball of innocence fight Nyarlathotep.
Tabletop Weekly. Oh my god mark you have to be on an episode of this!!
I would donate money to get Humes on this show! Get on it Wheaton!
SOOOO TRUEEEE
words
Still go bk and watch all these one a year😢
Actually, this game will be split into three episodes. But the third episode will never come out.
The Dork Knight I think that joke it too smart for anyone to actually get
2stupidgamers that's not what this is...
I get it and now I'm sad.
I applaud your wit, while simultaneously I die a little on the inside at the truth.
The Dork Knight that was SCATHING. Well played sir, well played indeed
Love this show, never quit will!!!
It's the 1920's, they don't have a form for bank loans. They just give you the loan, and then if you don't pay it back they sacrifice you to Azathoth. That's how things worked back then, right?
XauriEL Zwaan Yeah. That was my favorite scene from The Great Gatsby.
That's how the Great Depression started.
Absolutely love this game and I've been hoping you would play it. Losing is the best part.
Patrick has already finished book 3, he just delays an extra week for each person who demands it.
So it's going to be like that Malkovich movie that will only come out in 100 years?
He is in the revision process so kind of, but he is a perfectionist and there will be many changes still
Yeah that is good practice for a writer. Wait until no one wants his book to release it.. It's been 6 years - I'm out.
Yeah, but he isn't writing it for you MrBandorr
Lol, He would have to START writing it to write it for someone.
I am so glad TableTop exists. Its great for people like me who need a walk through, want to see if a game is fun and worth buying, wants to know great nerdy games, AND loves watching geeks be geeks.
Patrick Rothfuss is such a nice person, just hearing him talk is like being cuddled up in a blanket :3
The fight music is amazing!. Also the slowly fading in of text had me in suspense the whole time!
When Wil used the term "catastrophically successful" I immediately decided this was the greatest description of his life ever.
I am always so happy when a new episode of Tabletop comes out! :D
Wow!!! Does Stef Woodburn look a lot like Summer Glau!!! She's so pretty!!
Love the game and the expansions are interesting. I watch part one and two of these episodes every few weeks because they are so entertaining. I listen to them as I work.
My visceral reaction to seeing Patrick Rothfuss doing anything: "PATRICK, WHERE IS THE THIRD BOOK?"
I've been home sick most of the week and this makes me feel so much better.
Will's Character raised to fight this evil. She was trained in the deadly art of Kung-Thulhu.
Boo :)
Bruh
I have always liked the presentation of this series. In addition, this has introduced some fascinating board games, one of the I purchased. I wish I found more.
I think Pat not being able to fix his broken leg is a metaphor for him not finishing his books.
This cast has been fantastic. So funny and great synergy. I love Elder Sign and this game looks right up my alley. Definitely gonna be looking into getting it.
52:09 So what you're saying is...what Lola wants...Lola gets...
Finally! I've been waiting for this one. Thanks guys.
I'm a simple man. I see Pat Rothfuss, I click.
this
I want The Doors of Stone :(
Lol, totally except for me it's when I see Stefanie Woodburn.
I was about to say same thing , it's been far to long
She is gorgeous.
I really enjoy these old tabletop episodes, I wish they would come back
Just checking back another year later to see if Tabletop is returning 🙃 see you in 12 months...
I have returned from a year
Back again 🙃😅
I miss this show, great job everyone!
God, Patrick Rothfuss has a great voice. Is he voicing a cuddly, educated bear in some cartoons, 'cause he really should.
Cris05 He should but he needs to finish that third book T.T
Yes! I was waiting for an episode on this game for a long time.
Oh man, I love Elder Sign so much; I didn't realize this had so many similar mechanics.
Sigh. I miss Tabletop.
I own elder sign too Its sooo good
My only wish is that there can be more Tabletop vids come out more often. I love your show Will, Thanks.
17:44 Didn't Wil already walk along a train track...something about finding a dead body?
Pat, Stef and Jess are a riot in this. Great table of players.
Been waiting this for a long time. Thank you
31:09
Pat, you fucking genius
I haven't even started the episode and I'm already dreading the wait for episode 2
im so glad they decided to play this, me and my friends have played this about 30 times and never won... any tips are welcome... :(
This is my favorite episode so far this season!
When you see "pt.1" and die a little inside.
it's the dracula wait all over again
"WHEATON!" - Sheldon
What did you expect its a Lovecraft game, they are always huge in size and last forever
derp pls no
lalalalalalalalal567 You can get a free trial if that channel in the description and watch the whole season before it ends.
this seems like no edits or cuts to relevant parts of the game were made. LOVE IT, hope thats a trend for the future
44:27
Silly Wil!
You cant cheat the dice! The Dice cheat you!
Enjoyed this one! Good work guys :)
Jess makes this episode. But also, Stef makes this episode. But also, Pat makes this episode. But also, Wil makes this episode.
yes.
The chemistry between the players here is damn near as rock solid as the Fiasco episode.
Patrick and Wil are both the same age as me. Makes me feel old and lucky simultaneously. 43 years old.
So glad to see you guys playing my favourite game. Yay!!!
Huh. I didn't know how much I needed Partick Rothfuss playing Eldritch Horror in my life.
One of my favorite board games with one of my favorite authors!!!
