Yakoo is blind and deaf but it doesn’t bother him at all. Because his dad created a unique paw-tactile language for him. They communicate by touching. Yakoo also uses his whispers to find objects around. Pretty impressive stuff.

I have a senior mini dachshund who is also blind and deaf and she is so happy. I bubble wrapped the house when she lost her sight but she did not need it. She got around just fine and found me whenever she wanted a snuggle. These animals are precious!

This is the most beautiful relationship between owner and dog. What a great guy, he is so intune with with his dog. He knows how to stimulate his dog and help him live his life to the full. When you consider how isolating blindness and deafness could be... this is just wonderful and heartwarming. Absolutely brilliant .. his dog is so happy.

This is our "normal" type of dog ! Over the last 20+ years, we're now blessed with our third homogenous albino, born deaf and blind (latest blind in one eye). They are the best and just like any other dog ! Love LOVE and yes, Love.
This is a cute story , we went for a long walk on a rocky beach so when it was nice and sandy to sit I was rubbing his feet and he happily scooted down my legs and did the same to me , he's a freaken genius .

@Cuddle Buddies Her name is Calypso. She's all white of course, our vet thinks she's mostly Boxer with maybe some pitbull mixed. My friend found her abandoned in the trash after Christmas & immediately reached out to me because she couldn't keep her. We think she was "tossed out" because of her disabilities but I think she's absolutely perfect just the way she is!!! Do you have other social media platforms that I can follow you on as well? They say it is easier to train dogs & cats that are born that way because it is only natural to them. The animals that go deaf or blind are slower learners because they are afraid but do learn how to live with their disabilities.
