I actually enjoyed this movie despite how everyone else felt about it. And yeah, Black Adam was the first “chosen one” that the wizard Shazam chose. He turned on the council of wizards and killed all but one, and got banished… and later the wizard chose a new successor Billy Batson who became Shazam.
I loved the movie. Yeah some parts could have been done better, but I was entertained. I felt people have become drones now. And its the norm to now to scrutinize and nitpick the hell out of DC films because its a DC film.
Little late .. Yes he is stronger than superman . He controls something (energy ) call the living lightening . It can destroy almost anything . I think in the comics Black Adam nearly killed superman if it wasn't for shazam superman would have been destroyed . Black Adam get his powers from 7 greek Gods then when the wizards imprison him the Egyptian Gods granted him powers 7 of them. So fighting black Adam is like fighting 7 Gods. not Aliens (superman)

@@floydtwills7653 Bro, i hate when people think that magic is his weakness as if its the same as kryptonite. ITS NOT. Superman is vulnarable to magic, like it hurts him, but it doesnt make him weak. So no, Black Adam is not stronger than Superman.
In the original comics. Black adam beat superman. Shazam saved superman.. You guys talk about how superman is strong.. Yes he is absolutely. But how can you compare that to a being that was granted powers from God's. A being who controls an energy call living lightening. How strong do you have to be to have lightening running through your veins. I know you all are use to superman. That's all you know. You never saw someone powerful enough to take on him until black adam. Go and look back at the comics and see why shazam had to save superman.. Ohh yes and one more thing.. Along with his many abilities black adam can sustain a fight well beyond a trillon, zillion, years.. That gift was granted by an Egyptian God has many more.
