    Hello, I want to share my experience. Everything I used to eat , have no idea what was the guilty one, produced mucus and clogged my nostrils. I have mint in drops and believe me, one drop at night before sleeping was enough to breath better. I assume I have candida but doctors never knew anything besides sending me sprays and so on. I'm more amicable with herbs and natural medicine than with chemicals. This one drop of mint with a little of water have done much more than sprays, antibiotics and so many useless things doctors recommend. I first thank God for his plants, they are his gifts for us the humanity.

      Did you make the mint tincture yourself. As far as allergies you may be dealing with mycotoxins other than many foods can be mucus forming esp. grains and dairy.

    I planted Oregano last year, 2023 , I use it by boiling in cooking oil, then put in jar and add wick to deter mosquitos and fleas indoor. It works, didn’t know it’s also medicinal taken by mouth.
    Oregano grew so fast now it’s like a jungle in my backyard. Thanks, I was wondering how to use the oregano tincture, if it’s topical or by mouth. Now I know.

    Thank you! I just harvested my fresh oregano and will be making my first tincture! I have a question I've been wondering about: Why is a tincture more potent than just chewing and eating the fresh plant?

    • @lulishomestead6767
      @lulishomestead6767  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      You are welcome. Tinctures are potent because they are extracted by alcohol resins and alkaloids, that are not water-soluble. I am sure eating and chewing herbs will give provide some benefits. Just think how many herbs are required in one tincture preparation, definitely more than we can eat. Best wishes.

      Hi! Sorry, that video never got posted. I use shallow containers with beer and place them near plants late in the evening. Slugs like beer, come in for a drink and die. I like to empty those containers in the morning. Also, crush eggshells and sprinkle around the base of the plant. Early in the morning, around 5 am they also may be collected straight from the plant (but I usually busy at 5am 🤣)

      Tinctures are taken internally. Some people like to take it straight under the tongue and swallow and others like to mix into a little water. Always start a little and then increase. Tinctures are home remedies and there is no particular “dose”. Some people take a dropper full and increase to two droppers.
