    I like to make oregano and parsley tea and instead of straining it I just eat the herb when I get to the bottom of the tea cup. I feel better afterwards.

    My little serema got coccidiosis while quarantining in my house (she went on field trips outside where she picked it up). I started brewing fairly strong oregano tea and giving this as her drinking water (cold) and adding some dried oregano to her food. It’s been a week and she is making huge improvements 💕

    Oregano grows in my garden like a weed. I have to pull it out from places because of the over domination. That saying, I am very grateful to have it. I also grow lemon balm alongside it which is another vigourous herb.
    They compliment each other very well, especially with anti-viral properties. Thank you for making this video and bringing this to a wider audience.🙏

    Would you please talk about Mastic Gum in depth? After 15 years of H pylori and a UTI I have been using Mastic Gum I did my research first but there is not much on it. I have been taking Magnesium Calm and D Mannose for years and even antibiotics once a year for five years. Let me tell you after taking the Mastic Gum I have no symptoms of leg cramps or muscle spasms and no lethargic feelings. It has only been a month apparently the Mastic Gum works better than antibiotics at killing viruses of all kinds in our guts. I have to say just WOW! I do not have any UTI feelings or the feeling of any sickness in my stomach or intestines at all nothing has worked up to now like this. It started when I was 50 years old I am 71 now. I do use herbs and grow most of my own I also have a certificate in herbalism. I have canned my own food for many years. With all of this going on I do feel like I am 50 and very active in life all the way around but there are so many who are not and who are in a lot of pain it hurts me to see this going on and they say no cure at this time for chronic UTI. They do say not to take the Mastic Gum for more than six weeks and to take probiotics after, I make my own here at home.

    • @CleanFoodLiving
      @CleanFoodLiving  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I'm growing a variety called Origanum Vulgare. It's a very ordinary oregano that I planted from a seed packet I bought about 8 years ago. There are many types of oregano... greek, Italian, Mediterranean, etc. that are more culinary selective and are what's usually sold at stores or markets. Throughout all the varieties they have different leaves from one another so its easy not to recognize a different type oregano if you're used to a particular kind.....at least until you taste them and that unmistakable oregano flavor comes through!

      I bought a small pot this past spring, stuck in the ground, and now covers a 3 foot area. I'm in zone 8a, but have grown in zone 7a with no problem. What I have in the ground has a lot of 'hard' steams under the leaves. If you want a more bushy upright plant, you'll need to keep it trimmed back.

      You can dry and store the leaves but it won't be of equal value. If you're looking for long term storage for the fresh oregano that will help maintain the nutrient properties better than drying - I recommend making a glycerite. That may sound more complicated than it is... all you need is food grade glycerin and a bunch of fresh oregano!

      If you're interested in preparing the tea as to preserve and enhance as much of the beneficial properties of the oregano tea, then steep it as shown in the video. If that's not your priority, then boil it.

    Will this work for stomach gurgling due to anxiety and or IBS?

      I don't really think so regarding the anxiety root of it. Licorice root tea may be better suited in helping with that. But you can always give the fresh oregano tea a try just in case it jives with your body.
