Thanks for showing us around in this awesome landscape. It's great to see a happy lady in the outdoors and your nice smile that makes it a day! Cheers!
Hi Elle. What a beautiful day. Wonderful sky and views. Well done.👏👏👍 Lovely long hike. I'm itching to get out on a mountain on a sunny day. Spring will be here in no time. More sunny days soon. Nice to watch and relax on a Sunday afternoon. Great job. Thanks. 👋
That looks like an epic walk. You look less tired than I would have done if I had done it. The felled trees were commercial forestry, not a natural forest, and were planted as a crop to be harvested to provide the wood that we all use for furniture, construction or whatever. Very often, these days, when they fell those non-native conifers they don't re-plant, they just leave the ground to be re-populated with whichever trees come up from seed. So the new trees are likely to include more native trees like willow and birch and be a better habitat for wildlife than the conifers.
Wow that was some walk, I wanted to be there watching this. Shame about the trees being cut down, it always makes me feel a little sad when I see that. Forests and woodlands are my favourite places, I don’t know why but they always feel magical to me with Lord of the rings vibes like Fangorn Forest 😉
Ha ha I love that film … yes I know what you mean - it’s sad especially when it’s quite an old one with lots of wildlife 🦊🐭 I saw quite a few hidy holes that were the reminants of animal homes I think 😢
@@ethicalbunny Yes probably my favourite films of all time is the Hobbit and Lord of the rings. Perfect winter time movies when snuggled up inside with a cup of tea 👌
Great video, looks the perfect day for hiking Elle ☺️ stunning views.doesn’t look like there’s much snow?! I’m camping at Snowdon for a couple of nights tomorrow. I Will be traversing crib goch! I’ve got my crampons packed 🥴 looks like I might be leaving them at base camp 😂😊
Heya, I actually was up snowdon today filming a video and it is thick ice and snow! Defo will need spikes and an ice axe - not great conditions although visibility was pretty good !😊😊
@@ethicalbunny hey, great that’s good to hear 😊 I seen some pics on Facebook and conditions looked very icy up top. Looking forward to it, it’s the first time I’ve got out this year 🥴😊

If you're doing the Crib I think you might need them. The tops are looking a bit icy at the moment after a recent cold snap.
@@leejohnson3209 yeah I agree, it’s usually about 10c colder at the summit so will probably will be taking ice axe and crampons just in case! 👍

Super sights, less music though , you elucidate well enough to not need music, cheers.
Noted! Sometimes it’s just to cover the sound of howling wind 😅
Another fab walk/video many thanks
