I just go to January first for the 500 bonus and 7+ days bonus of 300 nook miles and just do the 2x and 5x daily tasks for that week until January 7th then go back to January 1st and rinse repeat. I did it yesterday and went from 50k nook miles to 145k in a couple hours of grind :)

If you want to go on Kap’n Tours, it costs 1,000 Nook Miles per round trip.
There actually used to be a faster way than this but required customizing your island specifically for grinding out random Nook Miles + tasks in a very small area. The fastest way now since 2.0, if you've completed 30 HHP homes, is to decorate all 10 villagers' homes on your island for 10,000 miles per day. Just make a bare minimum change to the exterior and say you're done.

@@BlueSky-no1jv it’s a feature in the game, not a bug. So yes it does
I just do January 1st 2060, go claim the nook miles and then save game and when it gets to “save complete” i go into setting and change date to January 1st 2059. (You dont have to close the game if you change date at this point) So, because I am going back in the “past” you don’t have to listen to the morning announcements. This means you can claim your 500 nook miles practically every minute.
Do you lose any of your villagers in the process at all?
@@bryannabarker7868 haha no. The only way you lose a villager is if you talk to them and tell them to leave. The only downsides to skipping ahead is your house will get bugs and your island will have weeds.

@@MissPoshosho exit animal crossing go to your settings and but 4 am and 59 minutes january 1st of 2060 or higher year and then just enter the game claim the money exit the game and set a year lower so 2059 at 4 59 again . So you get money

It's an exploit, not a glitch, there's nothing to be patched to be honest, nice video either way
Still been doing it since last year and yeah… no patch yet even with the new 2.0 update.

Go to 01/2/whatever year you want, set the time to 4:53 am. Before the clock strikes 5:00, go around and collect your daily beach recipe, plant your daily 10,000 bell money tree, and collect the 500 nook miles. Then the clock will strike 5:00 and the game will reload. Go around AGAIN and collect your daily beach recipe, plant your daily money tree, and collect the 300 nook mile bonus. You can do this as many times as you want, even repeating years. If you want to save time by avoiding daily morning announcements on the first day of each 2-day cycle, you can go forward and start at the year 2060 and then go backward a year each time you do the cycle instead of going forward a year each time, but you will miss out on the money tree dig spot spawn for the first day of each cycle if you do it that way. It will still spawn the second day though, and you’ll still get the nook miles bonus and a beach recipe for both days!
This way you get 800 nook miles, two recipes, and an extra 40,000 bells ~every ten minutes!

This is cool but there is en even faster way. Time travel backwards instead of forward. You’ll skip Isabella annoying speech everyday. Once your game is loaded up use the Mario pipe to teleport straight to the office center. Rinse and repeat.

@@Chaos_Feyre yup. You travel to year 2060 and then you change the year everytime. 2059-2058-2057… etc. You still get the miles and the Bonus but you skip Isabelles announcements
Honestly at this rate, I get the feeling that we’ll eventually see “Max Nook Miles” as a Speedrun category 😂

Set a Mario tube right outside your house and a Mario tube right by your Townhall. If there’s a great distance between the two it will be even faster travel.
If you have the day set to Jan 1st and the year as high it can go then you can just go back a year every time. You still get the same amount of miles and going back in time skips morning announcements

Thank you for the video but I think I'll stick to the daily miles streek and 2x and 5x bonus on the first dailies and then skip a day. To me that feels quicker and more effective and I don't have to load the game so often.

Imagine animal crossing but in big online world, kinda like runescape or wow but in animal crossing style, where everyone can have a house, skill like farming, fishing and so on.
would be super cool!

fun fact animal crossing developers first wanted the game to be an mmo but decided against it

just as a note here if you do at least your X5 Nook miles tasks you can get at a minimum 1000 miles a day in less than a few minutes
Found out it works at any time as long as it is January 1st pair this with January the 2nd and get 300 extra nookmiles

You need to be fully upgraded
There's an even easier method...It's called set the year REALLY HIGH and when you save and end, wait for it to get to "save complete" then TT back one year at a time.

@@Skrewlogic Set the year to something, let's say 2030. January 1, 2030 at 4:58 AM. Load the game.
Once game is loaded, let time roll over. Once done, and you have the miles claimed, pess the + button and select save. Once it gets to either "saving" or "save complete" but BEFORE it gets to the "press A" screen, TT back a year to Januaray 1 2029 at 4:58 AM. Go back to the game, let it get to the title screen, press A, go to the building, You're wlecome.

You will keep them, going backwards in time never EVER reverses anything you do, only the time of day. So long as you save, obviously

To save time, wouldn't it help to use a pipe to get to resident services, and set the time to 4:59?
Love the pipe idea! and I would say it's very possible it could work with the time being set to 4:59 as long as its enough time to get into the game before the new day starts. It's worth trying!

How do you time travel?
So I attempted this today and I did exactly what you said but here was the problem I talked to Isabelle what the rating on my Island was and she said it had a 1 star rating when I had a 2 star so I time traveled back the the original time I was playing and When I talked to Isabelle again my rating was back at 2 stars this glitch really worries me about my rating so I might not attempt this until I get a 5 star rating.

He was already on January 1st because if you look while he's saving at the bottom left corner it says what the date is and the day
I just deposited some bells in the bank and went a few decades in the future and then went 2000 then slowly went back to the normal date. I got 1 million bells now.

Uhm- so get this. It didn't work for me BUT I skipped to where Isabella and the other residents are already at the island. You see I was barely getting done with the 3rd house and boom! The tent for Tom nook is now a whole building along with the three houses already sold instead of one. I don't know what happened and I'm very confused 😓😓

a few days later.. about 3 days later.. there was a INSANE nook miles glitch getting 10K a day
