I’ve been to Newfoundland from the opposite side of the country. They are that friendly. I loved it there. Got to go back someday. You should go there. They will force you to survive!
When I first discovered this channel, I thought this channel was all about things, situations, scenarios people imagine themselves in, when they are stoned. It relates to the fact that the very first video I saw of “22 minutes” was “How high are you?” and then watched the Interview while being high and ended up watching the video on Edibles. Now no matter what video I watch, the assumption that this is one of those stoned scenarios always kicks in. It just stuck. Can’t even think of any other context except the stoned approach.
I miss using my ATV now watching this lol. No good to use her in St. John's because in the city. But if I get out around the bay where I am originally from. I'd love to jump back on it again and have a boil up in the woods with my buddies when the COVID 19 situation F's off out of it lol.
Their son wants to try his linits in badassery ... but daddy keeps barging in with his help and tips, and mummy keeps tucking him in. Try to be the tough guy there :)
I have noticed a trend in which people born in the MAritimes move to Alberta and now back to the Maritimes with more of a desk job offer and then after getting there instead next maybe being offered an apprenticeship in deep water welding if your daddy was a welder too. Your daddy or your grandpa was a welder and your mamma a water safety life saver while at the same time learning how to scuba dive? You there now survivor? Impressive how resilient you are young fella character while oft' striking out on your own in your next adventure around all the money and with fearless self-confidence too.
Jesus name something that you could microwave for 10 mins straight that wouldn’t explode or cause the microwave to explode. What on earth did she make?
Pretty hard to have nice hair in a situation like that eh? Watch out for the odd kid around who thinks he is a super hero wearing a superhero costume at age 12 or so too while having too much time on his hands while his parents are both unaware when each of them are working a few part time jobs at the time. While the usual number of mob bosses around the big cities now are looking for new recruits. Probable maybe thanks in part to all of the serial so called monagamists and part time commonlaw hubbies too all who often have itchy ears around their lawyer friends too. Before a Jason Kenney and some other white cowboy hat policitcians had believed that the only solution was to put all of those batmen like so called superheros to work on construction sites instead. Some of us older mothers and older fathers knew what was probable going to happen next to a whole lot of them who didn't get to attend any summer camp here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada where there is a well supervised 3 story high jungle gym to get fit enough for work on any construction site. Seems to me there would still be a world of difference between only a jungle gym and a construction site. Like when less experienced tradesmen people often tend to act like only copy cats at first while at work as only a first year apprentice when they are not out tearing through the streets on their skateboards in the summer maybe too. One maybe a local or not for awhile when probable being a student with MAYBE a boring engineering summer job once was prone to be playing his accordian at the same time he was on his skate board after work in the summer. Grandparenting is sure a lot of work too. Just saying. While everyone these days seems to have advice on parenting among so many other things too. Like Pierre who says that on top of all that the building codes need to be more relaxed too. I sure hope nobody hires any engineers from the U.K. who want everyone else to believe all the world is becoming Germanized.
Ya gotta love the laugh track that starts before the "talent" even says a word. Reminds me of the movie theatre scene in the film "Idiocracy". CBC? Yeah, same sort of audience. OK, I do click on the odd 22 Minutes clip, just hoping I will discover a second moment of semi-intelligent programming, paid for by us, the taxpayers of Canada.
I lived in Newfoundland for two years, and the Newfoundlanders themselves tell the best Newfy jokes I've ever heard. They're secure enough to laugh at themselves. As a Canadian who has lived and worked in every province and territory, I feel that the Newfoundlanders are the very best of us.
@@paddy1952 Long time ago, Newfy jokes were very popular and funny, even books! Then it was found out the jokes were all thought up by the Newfys themselves. We were stunned and had too much respect to spread them any more.. Great people!
Dude, they all started on the East Coast LONG before 22 minutes. They had a sketch comedy show out East for years before 22 minutes called Codco from 1988 to 1993. It's not a fake accent, it's a "they've been out of Newfoundland a long time" Newfie accent and lost some of it. So yeah, maybe it is "partially" put on, but they are legit East coasters 100%. I don't think they are all from Newfoundland either mind you, some of them are from NB, NS and PEI but they are all East coast, except for Shawn Majumder, obviously. But the older ones, all East Coast man and been doing East coast style comedy for decades. They can even imitate Acadians, tell me that's not East coast, lol. That's as French East coast as it gets.
@@Countrybananas Thank's Captain Obvious. lol. What I'm saying is the cast of 22 minutes, the older cast, are former members of the Codco comedy cast that has it's roots, on the East coast.
Well I don't mine at all what I do mine is money paying for computer services that don't work or ships contracted to be built in this country , and built in other countries .

I'm a Newfie. This is accurate. (it should be lol. They're all newfs in the sketch lol.)
