I need to watch more of these, I discovered this channel when looking for information on holographic images and found plenty of valuable information. My favorite results where the bleach ones and the dye one
Yeah so true! I probably should have mounted that one to plastic as well, it really grew on me over time! If I do a similar project again maybe I’ll try mixing some of these techniques to get more unpredictable results!
Hi Sam! I like your channel very much, because I m interested at all the things on Earth too. This is the idea for new video: hand-made shoes. Good look, and hope one day you ll have 1 million subscribers, you truly deserve it!
Hey Sam, I am currently researching for a project where I want to dissolve polaroids. would you mind telling me which substances dissolved the polas most quickly? thanks for the video, it was already super helpful. cheers, Ali
Hey Ali! Well I didn't have any success dissolving the outside plastic of the polaroids, which is why I had to open them up. But after that it's actually really easy to dissolve them. I believe the bleach was the harshest chemical I tried, but if you have a better lab setup you could potentially try more interesting reactions. I hope that's helpful, but let me know if you have other questions!
is there a way to burn a polarid with a some kind of chemical fluid ? i saw some dude with it at the youtube but he was pretending like 'deactivating curses' or some kind of shilt idk.
I still have it, I just never mounted it to plastic so it’s not as nice looking since it’s all warped. But maybe I’ll create posters out of all of them someday!
I open them after shooting 30 min sometimes after 1hour that way its super easy take it out the plastic , l change them into emulsion and l love it 🙂 after this l think do something new with them
this guy should have 1 mil
