I have had Sage Bambino Plus, alongside sage coffee grinder, daily use for more than a couple of years now. I find them really user friendly, and the Bambnio Plus has an automatic steamer wand which is a nice touch I often use. I am pleased I made that choice rather than the larger bean to cup version. I like the thoughtful design Sage seem to put into their products and I'm prepared to pay extra for that if i'm planning on using the gadget regularly. I've just ordered a Sage Paradice 9 food processor, which I am very excited to get my hands on! Thanks for the honest reviews.
Hey thanks for your comment and kind words. I totally agree Sage put a layer of polish on their appliances I really appreciate, and as you heard I would probably go with the Bambino / Plus if I bought again. Let me know how the Paradice is, I've never tried it!
Absolutely love this episode Gaz, super genuine insight into kitchen gadgets, appreciate the honesty. Not got any Sage products but considered them & Which? Always seem to like them. Save the best to last!!! I was so tempted to get the Sage ice cream machine. I’ve think I’ve got the Ninja bug. You’ve definitely inspired me to do my top 5 kitchen gadgets, so thank you. Keep up the great work. HHH
pretty sure sage is Breville in the US, there stuff is super over priced, but it all looks high quality. i want there waffle maker, but i cant bring myself to speed $300 on something that only does 1 thing.
Yes they market as Breville in other parts of the world due to brand clash. There are some gadgets worth spending more on - things with motors and special settings like the food processor. A waffle maker though... I'm sure it's good but I couldn't justify it either.
Sage is not worth the extra cost in my opinion. I bought not one but two of their smart air fryer oven and each one ended with a faulty control panel. They won't fix it.
@@RYN988 this is probably their biggest problem. Nipping at the heels of pro-sumer brands (Vitamix, KitchenAid, etc.); but almost non of the parts availability or repairability.
Thanks for the shout out Gary ✌you need a Sage apron to go with the tech now!
Welcome Nick, I do have merch coming soon though I didn't think of that design!

Always been a big fan of the Ice Cream machine. I hope you enjoy your Ninja Creami!
Breville has done major upgrades on the press with the: 1) sear and press grill and 2) smart grill and griddle
Yes I've seen their new grill/griddle products. Maybe I need to update!
@@BigSpud would love that ❤️
Great overview
Thanks Nic!

I assume all products are made in the Far East. Most seem to be bulky compared to alternatives. No thanks.
I checked the packaging of these products and they state "Made in China to our exact specifications." As Marco Pierre White says, it's your choice.

That sounds pretty poor, especially considering the price premium they attract.
