I don't think anyone was expecting gen 6. Glad it's in 2025 because they need some time to make it, and legends Arceus is the best Pokemon game on the switch. Super excited
I think this’ll get the BOTW treatment and be a simultaneous release. Both on the Switch and as a launch title for the Switch successor. March 2025 maybe?

It’s getting 3-4 months of extra time is not going to make a difference.
It's only set in Lumiose City. Also, the trailer and title refers to time travel, hence why the trailer had an old and futuristic style. Also, the graphics aren't being shown because it won't be on Switch and that's why it's 2025, as well.

I quite literally screamed alitte, when I saw the Z appear on the logo, I was so shocked and excited, I have always hoped for something new thats Kalos related

I don't think any of us was expecting Z but man we are returning to Kalos! I am excited for this next year we will get new megas,new fomrs,new evoultions,and new starter evolutions.

They mentioned a redevelopment plan so I'm assuming Lumiose was destroyed prior. This probably takes place right after the firing of AZ's weapon and the aftermath of the war. We'll probably be the first to discover mega evolution since AZ's weapon is what created the mega timeline. I'm hype for this ngl. Kalos needed some love after never getting that third version.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Kalos games and I didnt see this coming at all, but what a choice of game to get the Legends treatment. I'm hyped, if any region deserves another shot, it's Kalos

Super late here lol but i am so happy for the massive kalos fans, you all won during that presents! I have watched your Pokemon Z videos and they were great! So im happy the fact that Z is alive; in the form of a Pokemon Legends game is such a massive win! I can't wait for 2025 now lmao
I’m not even a Kalos stan & I’m hyped for this! I really wanted Pokémon Z back when Gen 6 was in its prime & the way they way they’re doing the is feels like the best possible outcome!!
They might have a side quest, but I don’t think it will be a detective game. In my opinion it’ll take place after the war and it’ll be our job to catch Pokémon to help rebuild the city. I’m getting a lot of those vibes from the sketches and the “futuristic” blueprints in the trailer. Also the title being Z-A, I think is a reference to AZ who was part of that war in the past.

I personally think the game predates luminous and it shows the making of luminous. As urban redevelopment plan means designing, constructing and moving people in and out of area to create a more urban space. So it’s most likely going to be the development of luminous in the mid to late 1800’s. So the question is how does the events of this game get forgotten by the time the original Pokémon X and y games are released.

The logo was a bit confusing! But it’s a very cool title.
This is random, but im 27, I stopped playing pokemon after Platinum, I had never played HGSS or Gen 5 (well I have now) cause I got "older"
Keep in mind I was a DIE HARD. Competitive battler, Shiny hunter, I love lore..
But I left for a minute.. but I came back to the wonderful world of pokemon when they announced X and Y, first game I pre-ordered in awhile at the time.
And have continued being a die hard since then (10 years goes by fast)
I was one of the very few who actually really loved gen 6, so yeah I was hoping for Unova too, but once they showed this, I freaked out.
Not only was legends a great game, im happy they are continuing the series.
On top of that.. They're doing it with the infamous POKEMON Z.
17 year old me would be tripping the hell out.

I LOVE KALOS SO MUCH. I played Gen 4 and 5, but Gen 6 really got me into Pokémon. PLA is such a special game to me, too. I’m so excited

My first Pokemon game was Alpha Sapphire, so I just barely missed the Kalos boat. And yet, something about seeing Lumiose City from street level with all its grandeur made me emotional. I’m really happy for the chance to visit this region with so much potential in it!

i am so incredibly happy right now. pokémon x was my very first pokémon game all the way back when i was 8 years old. and now next year im gonna be 20 and going back to Kalos. i guarantee im going to cry when i boot up that game for the first time, no doubt about it :")
Kalos is a special region for me as well. So excited!!!
I’m super hyped! Gen 6 is actually my 2nd least favorite generation due to the fact that the games were so basic and incomplete. But this looks good. They mentioned on X that the game will strictly take place in Lumiose city, which is interesting since we won’t be exploring the greater region. To me the whole trailer looked like a blueprint of sorts for rebuilding the city in a simulation type of thing. So it makes me wonder if it is in fact in the past maybe after the weapon was fired and OG lumiose city was destroyed and the game will revolve around rebuilding the city. Dang that sounds cool!
I think it’s gonna be set 100-200 years ago and we’ll play a role in beautifying and modernizing the city! Seeing the city expand as we do different tasks, etc. Stay tuned for my theory video coming in a few days!

Cant tell if this is the start of lumiose or a lumiose in the future but either way this will be very interesting. Kalos and megas after Paldea could have some great lore potential.
