I was born in 83. My earliest MTV memory was seeing the Yankee Rose video. Soon after that it was Ratt, Poison, etc. I really got to live the music through my dad who went to rock shows all the time.

That was killer. Megaprops to nick. The most fun thing about satchel is that he brings total chaos to interviews, and nick did pretty good "herding cats". The bits of chord theory were excellent. I could watch this type of easy hangout videos all day, but you do need the right personalities. PS, def leppard was/is the all-around best arena rock band ever. Songs, arrangements, everything.
Satchel has a great career in stand-up ahead of him if he ever gives up Steel Panther (which I hope he NEVER does) because he's SO quick with the comebacks, and the references. May there always be a Satchel!

I saw Judas Priest in the late '70s at a small club. must have been their first time in America. they had brand new Marshall stacks, and ridiculous arena rock outfits - but it was a small stage at a small club with (maybe) about 200 people. I had heard their first album and thought they'd be worth seeing. But they were one of the worst bands I've ever heard (almost as bad as Ted Nugent). The local band opening act was much better. They were just plain terrible. And it was all the more hilarious because of the outfits and phony arena posturing in a small club. it was awful. we got up and left after about 4 songs, they were so bad.

Nerding out about guitars and riffs with Satchel makes this one of his best interviews. Usually it’s the same shtick and Steel Panther jokes (which I love) but this is way better.
Nick always brings the good vibes, they just amplify each other. That 80s VHS vibe on the picture is so spot on! So much to learn guitar wise, so many great riffs. Satchel plays so clean, immediately caught my ears. Got to learn some open chords with effects :D
This was the best Satchel interview I've ever seen. He keeps the schlock to a minimum and gets into what he really likes to play. The jokes are fun, and not flat like other interviews where he tries too hard to be funny. Nick is a powerhouse player and keeps right up. Really enjoyable.
John Sykes!!!!! His effort on WHITESNAKE 1987 is legendary. His BlueMurder albums are equally Awesome. Sykes is aGod and great that These two cats pay respect. 80s were the peak.
I just saw Steel Panther a week ago for the 3rd time, I think this last show was their best. I've seen a lot of bands multiple times over the years, I kinda think that SP is one of the best bands out there ATM. If you get a chance to see them I highly recommend doing it and not sitting home that night, from beginning to end it's just a great show, if you miss them youre missing out.
For some reason the way Nick holds his guitar looks super awkward to me but then he whips out the most killer riffs 🤣 Great job with that interview Nick! Satchel's a tough one unless you speak his language, and you clearly do 👏

Nick always brings the good vibes, they just amplify each other. That 80s VHS vibe on the picture is so spot on! So much to learn guitar wise, so many great riffs. Satchel plays so clean, immediately caught my ears. Got to learn some open chords with effects :D

This was the best Satchel interview I've ever seen. He keeps the schlock to a minimum and gets into what he really likes to play. The jokes are fun, and not flat like other interviews where he tries too hard to be funny. Nick is a powerhouse player and keeps right up. Really enjoyable.

I just saw Steel Panther a week ago for the 3rd time, I think this last show was their best. I've seen a lot of bands multiple times over the years, I kinda think that SP is one of the best bands out there ATM. If you get a chance to see them I highly recommend doing it and not sitting home that night, from beginning to end it's just a great show, if you miss them youre missing out.
It's very difficult to find an interviewer who can hang with Satchel but y'all did it.
