He was dyignosed with NF1 last year and today we got his theropy report back. Not to get into it but he has a mind of a 1 year and 3 month year old right now. I love that you are brave enough to play monoblue. A true MTG OG! I have been playing MTG since 93 and as I am sure you already know, old school players are always fans of the blue. Fun Fact: A lot of times, when a card says target player, a lot of times it's because it also targets a creature or planeswalker. It targets the player so that it doesn't fizzle the whole spell when its only target is not legal anymore, i.e. when you kick your inscription and target a creature to bounce, if that creature gets hexproof or something, you still make the illusion token and scry and draw. if it didn't say target player it would actually fizzle. Just an interesting rules interaction that I didn't learn up until pretty recently. thank you for listening to my ted talk XD

Crafted this deck cuz it was something different, but i made a couple changes. Swapped 2 of the spectrals and a satchel for 3 delvers of secrets and took out an inscription for a cyclone summoner to help with wide deck, although idk if the summoner is actually gonna be useful or not, but it is cool
I think the token thing at 22:28 is because tokens aren't cards, not because they don't go to exile. I could be wrong tho. edit: not trying to be snarky, thanks for the vids CGB!

Just played a lot of matches of with this deck it’s so good and so legit !!! I’m on mythic getting out of the percentages, the inscription o will change to 3 or 2 for a deluge but that’s it
I remember back in the day, kitchen table, sleeves were not even invented yet, I would bust out my mono blue deck that only wins with howling mines and copy artifact but stops everyone from doing anything and everyone would just quit until I switched decks.
Why on the bottom left corner does it show an eye crossed out like for don't show with opponent and deck. What software is that and is it for cheating? So you can see your opponents hand and look at the order of your deck?

Feels like if you can reasonably cast Alrund's Epiphany, you can build any deck around it. But love seeing mono blue control!

I think the ruling at 22:50 was that tokens are not cards, and the dog mentions card instead of a supertype such as creatures or permanents.

It's a visual bug. The phasing out ends at the end of the turn but the effect stays on.
