What! You may be the 1st person I have ever seen that has Wind, Solar and Hydro. Well done! :)

12 years ago I got sick and tired of constant power outages. So I went and bought a $500 generator. Since then, the lights have barely flickered. I guess I solve the problem!

I love the combination of retro and modern.

Your excitement reminds me of myself, finally a decent power outage! Wish I had your knowledge, all I do is start my generator and switch the transfer switch! Love your vidios!!

You have an excellent system , wind , solar and hydro input teaming up with the inverter to run the house during the SHTF situation.🤙

And this is why we spend 10's of thousands of $$$, so we can hope and pray there's a power outage just to see if our system(s) perform as imagined and designed...

Very neat wiring, I am impressed (electrician). First time seeing one of your videos and I really like the water wheel. And I love the old school analog meters. I started my electrical career working on older equipment some of which had analog gauges and relay ladder logic. Looks like you are very well set up to be independent.

Very cool setup. I get excited when I know there's a power outage. I'm ecstatic when I wake up early in the morning and every house in the neighborhood is dark except mine.

That is brilliant setup brilliant going, really like the water wheel system.
Live in the UK and as you probably know we get a lot of rain, like to do a hydro system to add to the solar/battery set up.
    Take care Sam.

You can use the waterwheel through a lawnmower transmission to turn those large brushless washing machine motors to make hundreds of watts of power. ❤

They would never hold up. I have tried many different types of chain and sprocket and gear driven transmissions. A few lasted several months. Even large ball bearing pillow blocks only lasted several years with regular greasing. I now use wood bearings witch last about 5 years. Low rpm lots of torque and weight take there toll. Belts seem to last well and are inexpensive and quiet.

I hate it when I do all these cool preps and then nothing disasterous happens so I can test them out. Is it too much to ask for an occasional tonado, earthquake, solar storm, or power outage?

You can simulate one Anytime by walking over to your panel box and shutting off the main breaker.

I wish I had the skills/knowledge to install and monitor some of those backup power sources. My solar goes straight to the grid.

why do people use small micro turbines when they could easily use helical turbines with 12 foot blades and get 5x the energy
