Is this the S-1 from Gilgit to Skardu? I am in Skardu now and need to get back to the KKH as easy as possible (broken shock). The S-1 is shit. Looking at the road through Deosai to Astore and then KKH.
Asim Hassan i am affraid it will be "zulam" on aqua bcz road is underconstruction, plz select anyother place i would say take them to Naltar valley near gilgit

Ahsan Javed brother i went through astore deosai road, and came back from kaglot road, that road is much better, just army stops the traffic for some time, like 15 to 30 mins for blasting then they clear the road, tottaly it would tak 8 to o hours from jaglot to skardu.

I am told that the strategic highway or the road which turns from kkh to skardu is under construction not the astore valley road. Please enlighten.

Hamza Sherazi if you have prado then you can easily go, it is dangrous only for low profile cars like corrolla civic etc

What about road conditions from Jaglot to Skardu for a Hiace van?
