Thanks. Really helped me find the 2 SSD slots. I didn't know where the 3rd one was until I saw you insert it. I only had 2 SSD sticks right now anyway. But it's easy enough to add that later. I didn't take the whole "component" out as you showed. I also had to define my 2nd SSD in Windows Disk Management, but I knew I would probably have to. Look forward to more. Not a gamer except MS Flight Sim and to begin with I'm just using the graphics on the board as it came. Thanks a lot. Irv in Florida
I'm not sure if it's too late but do NOT add a 3rd m2 drive. It starts using the PCI-E bus and it slows it down considerably. Which is very important if you want to play FS2020 at high detail.
@@RobeytechLive I don't think that will change it much... we rarely get high end gaming pc's here in Sri Lanka... lot of people that call high end here is actually mid range pc's.... its really rare to see those type of tech used here... and really expensive as well.
Intel only claimed that the length of the card should be smaller than 8 inch. I am wondering whether there are limitations on height and width. The asus offer is 19.7 x 12.1 x3.9 cm, and is confirmed to support NUC9 officially. The gigabyte mini is L=169.99 W=121.45 H=42.1 mm. Will it be supported, even if 42.1 mm is a little thicker than 3.9 cm? Could you talk a little bit about the limitations on height and width? It could be very helpful for users to buy the corresponding card. Thanks.
@@RobeytechLive Hi, thanks for the reply. The official intel page only mentions 8 inches (zotac is slightly exceed 8 inches) and dual slot (roughly 40 mm). It does not mention the width (strange for me). You mentioned that evua KO, which is shorter than 120 mm and as thin as 2 slots, works. We could conclude that 20 * 12 * 4 are supposed to be safe. But the mini cards are not always smaller than this. If you could check giga, that could be perfect, since its size is wider than 12 and thicker than 4.2. thanks again.
If anything, this inspired me to make a custom mini-ITX build. I use my main rig as my gaming PC and server, so the NUC on its own couldn't replace it. No... those 2TB is not enough lol... I need ~6TB ^_^
@@RobeytechLive I'm on my desktop. ~3 years old I think, but not shabby at all. The artifacting is consistent at that point each time. I tested on my phone, a Pixel 2, and it did some as well, just not as bad. Maybe you need to recompile the video?
@@RobeytechLive Well.... so far you're ~275 views, so IF you did delete and re-upload, it may not be too big a hit. I'm not sure if you're monetized and how your analytics look, but I guess it's an option. Hopefully it does go away. Maybe an upload codec issue?
well, just FYI, everyone should look on the box their pc comes in, for how much and at what speed the pc can handle ok, as i went on amazon and the person told me my pc could handle 3200mhz, which it cannot ok, but then i looked on the box my NUC came in and it says at 32gigs@ 2666mhz and 64gigs@ 2400mhz ok, that is what i should have gone by ok and not the person on amazon ok hehe
This NUC is utterly crap! I am using it right now. The graphics card BLOCK ALL AIR INTAKE for the CPU so the CPU runs at 80° (even at 20%) load. If you us OBS the whole thing over heats and restarts the machine. Big mistake. Avoid.
If you need a really small form factor pc there are not many this small with the power this has!

What is the most affordable option when it comes to tiny pc builds?
Good vid robey 👌👍
For such a small form factor, it ran like a beast! Also like the #BeefyCores at the end just snuck in.
There's not much else out there that can pack as big a punch as this in such a small footprint

Is the only colour of this case Black or do they have other colours? It would be nice if they make them in a few variety of colours.

Quick question, did you check BIOS for things like XMP? I have a NUC8i7HVK and XMP lets you go way beyond 2666.
