I Am An Innovator: Ryan Lannan

Biochemistry major and Dean's Scholar Ryan Lannan talks about the role that the Freshman Research Initiative has played in his college career. Lannan is part of the Aptamer Stream.
The Freshman Research Initiative, or FRI, creates new scientists like no program before it and at a scale that has never been attempted. It completely transforms students' lives' by empowering then to conduct and contribute to modern science--design experiments, perform data analyses and publish peer-reviewed papers--as freshmen. They start becoming innovators their first year.
