- How to fit a toilet - In this tutorial I give a step by step guide of how to fit a toilet from beginning to end. I show how to fit the cistern parts to the water tank, how to attach the water tank to the toilet pan, how to connect the flush to the cistern, how to secure the toilet to the floor, how to fit the toilet seat, how to connect the toilet to the mains water and waste soil pipe using a pan connector.

@@steves1460 ha ha your comment made me laugh.. currently sitting in a DIY loft conversion, Dormer at that.. Saved 10k but ran out of motivation before painting and finishing the bathroom. Been this way for over 1w months.

the toilets in North America have the drain in the bottom and its makes it a lot easier to install!
The idea is the bend in the bottom creates a trap for water and stops smells entering the room. Thanks for the info, always interesting to see how things are done in other parts of the world. Thanks again for watching!

Can you tell what brand corner toilet you have with rear flush thanks
My toilet bowl outlet is about an inch below my four inch waste pipe which comes out of a masonry wall. An offset connector would have been fine if the waste pipe was below the outlet from the toilet but it is the other way around. How do I fix this?
Never seen a corner toilet before, very strange. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the video.

I need to replace the toilet-I was on the beer with my mates in town came home used the toilet and smashed the cistern -I know -don`t ask how ,the new pan outlet is about 2 inches below the soil pipe inlet is this ok or should the cistern outlet be level with the soil pipe or higher -if higher should I raise the pan or take a whizzer to the soil pipe and shorten it, raising the pan would easier but i`m not shore - any advise would be helpful.
It should really be higher so there is a drop to the soil pipe. If you need to raise the toilet then I guess you need to improvise! Best of luck.

When running first fix for rads is it best to tee off òf 22mm for 15 feed to each rad
Hi, I'm not a plumber by trade so probably not best placed to answer this question, but generally speaking, the bigger the pipe the better the flow, so if you can maintain the 22mm for the main feed, and just tee off to 15mm pipes for each rad from the 22mm then that is best.
