The one thing that Brian Johnson said that always stuck out to me was, he was never a replacement singer for bon Scott he was there because bon wasn't... Love it

Remember that interview where he told about his first gig with the band? Signs in the audience that said 'Rest In Peace, Bon'. Gave him some anxiety, until he saw one that said 'Good Luck, Brian'
Indeed never replaced Bon, just took over where he left off and kept his work & memory alive to this day!

Brian always reminds me of someone who can't quite believe his luck to be where he is now. I grew up less than 3 miles from where he did in Gateshead. I can only imagine the gratitude a guy from Dunston feels for having lived the life he's had so far -it really shows when you hear him talk.

In my opinion, this album - Powerage - is their most underrated album. It's every bit as good as Highway to Hell and has stood the test of time very well. This song is one of my all-time favorite songs. So bluesy with a hard, jagged edge. This version kills and Brian does a great job filling in for The Man. Great memories of my youth right here.

He did a great job in my opinion. and you're right ... not many lead singers, if any, could step up after a tragedy like that with one of the best lead singers in any rock band, and keep it going. Brian did. And he didn't have to imitate Bon's style; he's got his own.

People bagging in Brian. If you understood anything about vocal ranges, you would know that Brian is a baritone (lower range) and bon is a tenor (higher range). The fact that Brian took over for bon is quite impressive if you ask me, because that man put a LOT of effort into it. They're both Badass vocalists with a great sound and I couldn't pick one over the other.

This is the best example of why phil rudd is just the perfect drummer for AC/DC, IMO. Here you can listen so well to his using of charleston and his UNIQUE particular groove. I don't expect much people understand this, but I think that if you listen now to chris slade (which is a really good drummer for me) you can notice the difference. Drumming for AC/DC doesn't need strenght or speed, needs groove.
