Oh my goodness!! I love this story about you and your gallbladder. I can identify with that pain. I had many attacks before I finally had mine out. Thanks 😊
Dear Pat- my mom always served meatloaf w/ baked beans and baked potatoes. One day when she was in her70’s, she asked me (me!!) to make my meatloaf for her as she loved mine and hated her own! So did we! We laughed. Now that’s a memory no one cares about but me. I love watching you and even more now that my mom is gone. How I love your pink lamp! Thank you for sharing you with me. You are needed, Pat! 💕Trish.
Good grief people will find fault with the silliest things. Pay no mind. You do you, Granny Pat. I like everything about your videos just the way they are. Home Goods is a great place to slip on in to. There's nothing wrong with that, either. It's much better than a trip to the emergency room anyday.
My daughter also says"if mom went to hospital, she's really not feeling well"..Very happy you called Virginia.. I also buy at Goodwill..Then I donate what I no longer want.Beautiful locket, mine contains my 4 grandbabies hair and a small piece of Mom s hair..
Great video Granny Pat. I do so enjoy them. Yes you are right we see the same things, hear the same news but you bring lots of happiness. 89 years young!
Good morning granny Pat. I love your hair and Goodwill blouse. Yes meatloaf and mashed potatoes and coleslaw cornbread is one of my favorite meals too.
Very similar gall bladder story for me too. I don’t go to doctors, ER or hospital unless I’m at death’s door but glad I did then and got that out. The first thing I wanted after surgery was…yup, pizza 😂. You do a great job with your videos and I always feel like we’re right there with you chatting. It’s ten below zero here in upstate New York and no warm up in sight so I’ll be watching that old groundhog. Love your blouse❤
You look pretty today....love your shirt. Thrift stores are some of the best stores to shop at. Love your stories. Blessings to you from East Tennessee.

I used to be a hiker, then I got breast cancer, had chemo, then I broke my leg, have an internal fixator, then they had to amputate my left leg, so at night I feel like you’re my precious friend. Hope that you had a good dinner. Xoxo from Rogersville Tn.
Granny Pat, I absolutely adore you!! You remind me so much of my beloved Granny. Remember that jealousy is the root of all toxicity ~ so rude commenters are showing their roots. Love you💖💝💖
Enjoyed your show tonight Pat James was watching the program Bluegrass music and so I just watched you privately on my iPad as he watched Dailey and Vincent music. I have earphones that I can connect to my iPad and I can listen privately and hear the music too. Keep up the good work girl you’re doing good. What kind of camera are you using now? I just use my iPad. I don’t think I’ll ever get a camera. I’m too used to looking at myself. Make sure my hair is straight lol. Good night sleep tight. Don’t let the bedbugs bite. That’s what we used to say when we were kids.

Granny Pat, l think your friends here, including me, are happy to be *patient* for another video just whenever you want to post something you want to share. Ya know you say you are not naturally funny. But I beg to differ. For instance you share of your sisters comment ,recommending to you. Not tell others you bought your top at Goodwill. Hi Pat! If Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If not, we will have an early Spring. You looked very pretty today in your animal print top and dark glasses! Love the locket too! ❤
Oh my goodness-we have such similar gallbladder attack stories…!!!!! I think it was in 2005, I was about 50 years old when totally out of the blue one morning at work, I got so sick. For the last 14 years of my career before retirement, I worked in at a very large hospital, so I was already at the hospital-LOL. I was the executive assistant to one of the senior administrators, who is also a registered nurse. I had gone in her office with my waste basket in my hand, to lie down on her sofa-it was early, so she hadn’t arrived yet. When she arrived, the second she saw me and looked in the trash can, she said, “I’d bet a million dollars you are having a gallbladder attack!!!”. She put me in a wheelchair and took me downstairs to the ER. After getting a shot for the nausea to get the dry heaves under control, getting some IV fluids, and undergoing a few tests, my boss was absolutely right-two weeks later, I had gallbladder surgery…!!!
Pat it was interesting hearing about your gallbladder surgery. I was happy to see you after coming home from church. Lovely blouse and picture, lamp and little bird. I have a simple Coleslaw recipe too.❤🙏carson.
@@lacreciaturlington9215 I could be funny if I didn’t forget what I’m talking about right in the middle of what I’m saying! I may start with one subject and end the story with something else. I figure if I don’t know the difference, who will? (That’s supposed to be funny!) HA!
Pat, you mentioned you don’t watch TV anymore and I know how you feel about that. So this is why I’m sending you a message. I have found something on TH-cam you might enjoy, at least for a while. It doesn’t sound very interesting but I have found it keeps my interest for something to enjoy occasionally. It’s a woman named Cheere Denise who is reading chapters of a book titled “The Other Mrs. Kennedy”. Yes, it’s about Ethel Kennedy. I know it doesn’t sound very entertaining but it is. Give it a try. What have you got to lose?.. Oh, and I enjoy you and your channel very much and your stories 😊.
Hi Granny Pat! I enjoyed the visit tonight and your hospital gallbladder story had me on the edge of my seat! That watch pendant is just beautiful. Do you remember which edition of Country Accents Magazine your photos were featured in? I'm assuming it was a 1994, but which month? Have a relaxing evening and blessed day tomorrow. 😊🌼🌼🌼
@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 Thank you! I'll see if I can find a copy. I was thinking maybe May and actually found a copy of that one, but I'll look again and keep my eyes open for it. 💙💐
Hi ya Pat , To me you’re looking right at me . Your blouse , earring and the darling locket with the pretty watch are darling . Thank you for reminding me tomorrow is groundhog day and the story it’s a doozie ! My goodness I am sorry you were so ill that long winter night . Its always a pleasure to watch you . Thank you for your time . Looking forward to seeing you soon 💐
Whaaattt!!! Whoever said that , needs to get a life or sit down and appreciate someone with, taste and respect!Thank you Granny Pat for sharing your life with us. We love you❤
Granny Pat, lt was a good story although your illness wasn't good! Yes, regardless of the source, the shirt looks great as does the watch. The real point is that l am always so pleased when l find a new Granny Pat video - sitting here by myself, a new Granny Pat video is a real pick me up which is the real point of my comment! - Jeremy (one of ur fans!!)
Granny pat,you mentioned a few times that you live in an apartment. I keep seeing how big and pretty it looks in the background and find myself jealous when i compare it to the one i live in! Lol! I love the fact you have a window over your stove?and fancy shelves. Would you be willing to give us a video tour of your apartment? Please? I may be moving into a different one.
Haven’t missed a single video and have enjoyed each and everyone. Some bring back memories of years ago, some have me laughing so hard, some the tears come right along with yours and have loved your cooking ones too. I have all three of your books and love them too, you’re a blessing to so many of us❤
You're doing just fine my precious Pat. Heck no way could I ever do what you do and whoever complains probably couldn't either. 😅 Going back to your video on my telly.
Ya know the fact you remember what stories you have already told is the very best trait of a storyteller.🤣. If you look through your photos and it will trigger memories. Good for you for no TV! I should give it a try! Love your still kicking! That matters to me. Good night darling heart

I went through the same thing as you. They all look different. After my checkup he said you had over 100 gall stones. I couldn’t believe it. So I picked them up one day., they looked like a box of rocks. They were Carmel in color. I always blamed the color on pop. Don’t you know I keep them for years. I finally threw them away. I think there was so many maybe they broke them up getting them out. You are right that is the worst sickness you could get. I better get to bed. I’m taking Joy to the grocery tomorrow, so we can go to Waynesville on Wednesday. Have a Good week. I bet you are looking forward to Jan getting home. 😃❤️😘🐝
You should tell us about the time your house was in the 1934 Home Accents magazine; that would be interesting. You probably have a copy of the magazine don’t you?
Hi Granny Pat….first, don’t listen to whoever said you’re not looking at us. I have never felt that way, and many of your viewers agree, cause I’ve read a lot of the comments. About your gallbladder….My gallbladder story started the night I brought my 2nd son home from the hospital from giving birth. I put up with those attacks for 9 months, cause I was like you, not going to the doctor, not going to the hospital, I’ll be ok later or tomorrow. I went from weighing 145 to 85 pounds. Finally, I agreed to the ER when I was having an attack. I didn’t have gallstones, my gallbladder was bad, and because I waited so long, it might affect my spleen they said. They couldn’t do my surgery right away because a count was too high in my blood. That was back in 1987. I love listening to your stories and seeing all of the things you want us to see. Hope you’re having a good day.
I never noticed a problem with your videos. I think you do very well ❤

Pat it was interesting hearing about your gallbladder surgery. I was happy to see you after coming home from church. Lovely blouse and picture, lamp and little bird. I have a simple Coleslaw recipe too.❤🙏carson.
Granny Pat, I never notice you not looking at us, so to speak, you do just fine!
You're so cute Granny Pat! I like your stories 😂
@@lacreciaturlington9215 I could be funny if I didn’t forget what I’m talking about right in the middle of what I’m saying! I may start with one subject and end the story with something else. I figure if I don’t know the difference, who will? (That’s supposed to be funny!) HA!
You are such a wonderful storyteller! Thank you Granny Pat . You have no idea how much you mean to me. Hope this Groundhog Day is better for you!
Love this video and your stories! Love you GP! 🥰
Hi I'd forgotten that Jackie O died when 64 yo. 😢
Happy February❤ you look great, also love your accent chair
Look forward to your talks about your family and how things were bacj then . Love to you❤
You always look so nice.
@@christinerepoff4808 I appreciate the compliments.

It was the 1994 Christmas issue of Country Accents. It came out in August with a picture of my breakfast room on the cover.
@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 Thank you! I'll see if I can find a copy. I was thinking maybe May and actually found a copy of that one, but I'll look again and keep my eyes open for it. 💙💐
@ Contact Country Accents magazine. They keep copies on file - expensive!
@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 I noticed the one in eBay was almost $13 for the May 1994 Edition! 😯
Love your blouse.
Feb 1st was National Freedom Day which celebrates the signing of the 13th Amendment in 1865 by Pres Abraham Lincoln, which abolished slavery.
Love Groundhog Day
Granny Pat, your videos are just fine the way they are. Look where you want to look.
Granny Pat you look beautiful in your new shirt❤

Hi Granny Pat Enjoyed your story tonight. I always look forward to them. Keep them coming.💖😘
Granny lives in a condo, I think she said.😊
Haven’t missed a single video and have enjoyed each and everyone. Some bring back memories of years ago, some have me laughing so hard, some the tears come right along with yours and have loved your cooking ones too. I have all three of your books and love them too, you’re a blessing to so many of us❤
@@debby891 Thank you. Your comments are uplifting.
@ ♥️♥️
You're doing just fine my precious Pat. Heck no way could I ever do what you do and whoever complains probably couldn't either. 😅
Going back to your video on my telly.
Every three weeks shows great discipline 😊!
If the groundhog sees his shadow, it’s six more weeks of winter. And good ole Punxsutawny Phil, saw it! Ughhh.
Ya know the fact you remember what stories you have already told is the very best trait of a storyteller.🤣. If you look through your photos and it will trigger memories. Good for you for no TV! I should give it a try! Love your still kicking! That matters to me. Good night darling heart
@@susanadair3360 Keep watching, please!

@@bonnieallen3775 What scared Jan when my sister called her was that one of Jan’s co-worker’s mother died from gall bladder surgery!
@ I don’t see her unless I go to the antique shop. She has too many irons in the fire. I’m anxious to see what she bought.
@ She keeps herself busy for sure.
@ I can’t complain. Her work is ahead of her!
I live alone too
Yes there is a limit!!!!
At least there should be.😉
You should tell us about the time your house was in the 1934 Home Accents magazine; that would be interesting. You probably have a copy of the magazine don’t you?
Died from a broken heart 😢
It doesn’t matter where you look you can’t see us anyway.
It always looks like you are looking at us. Some people are crazy lol
You are fine just keep telling your tales😊❤
When are you and BG going to get together again?😊
I have tv on just for company - old sitcoms & 2 soaps
I made veggie soup on this cpld day .have a lovely day.
Keep doing what you’re doing. You are ok.
We all blow our noses 😊
You seem to be looking at us IMO.
