Elections in Europe have once again raised the spectre of a shift to the right across the globe. In response President Emannuel Macron has just called a snap election to try to head off the rise of the far right in France. But no election result is more anticipated than the one in the United States later this year which could see Donald Trump return to the White House. Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull famously had a run in with President Trump and he's now published an essay in Foreign Affairs magazine, "How the world can deal with Trump".
