I'd say peeing in the shower is completely harmless. If it splashes on you, wash the part is splashed on. Maybe stand away from the drain if you're so worried. Any drains that are used for bio-waste usually go to the same place regardless. That would include showers, toilets, and bathroom sinks. The smell makes no sense, because as you're washing, you use soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Any of that stuff would help wash away the urine and the smell quite easily, considering it's going down a drain and has no time to sit and dry. The most important thing to take away from this video: They still never gave any specific reason why it was bad or why to not do it. The splashing issue was refuted without further argument, the smell issue was never addressed, but one refuted argument in a whole debate versus one ignored argument is not good for the anti shower pissers. Can't believe I have to say this, but your waste water stream is different if you piss in the shower versus the toilet where it belongs. Sewage and plumbing rules are different for a shower and a toilet, and you can be encouraging harmful bacteria to grow in your shower drain by urinating in it. You can also cause damage to the pipe fittings and cause premature corrosion to happen around the joints. Just piss in the toilet where it goes, and you avoid both of these problems. Not every shower is the same, but most toilet drainage systems are, and they're built to handle different stuff than showers are. Also if you have a UTI, you could be spreading it by urinating in a shower before someone else takes a bath. It doesn't matter how much water you run over yourself or the bottom of the tub after. Splashes happen, and you can't be 100% sure that your tub is clean after unless you take extra steps to make sure it's clean. Like spraying it down with bleach or some other cleaning agent.

In a non-nudist camping you'll get fined and evicted, and in a nudist camping you're just being weird. Ok hear me out; it all depends on how you get your water. If your water comes from a ground well rather than a pipeline, it’s more efficient to piss in the shower. If you piss in the toilet before hand you either have to flush it (wasting valuable water from a possibly finite source) or let it sit there (which is undisputedly more gross than shower pissing). Regardless of how you get your water, it’s all going into a septic tank/sewer anyways, you’re going to clean yourself anyways, and you’re going to clean your shower anyways (once every two weeks at minimum I hope).
The position of both my shower and my toilet allows me to piss FROM my shower into the toilet after a good 3 years worth of neighborhood wide nerf wars I can admit that my aim regarding targets below my current position is awful so I just choose not to

If I were in this conversation I'd have mentioned that peeing on the shower floor doesn't mean the floor is clean because it's washed away. Pee is not a sterile substance and you're spreading bacteria on the floor. By peeing on the floor you're just making the shower dirty and you really should clean the shower immediately after you'd pee it it. Which is why you should use the toilet.
